Memory is a Fragile Thing(Teren) Empty
PostSubject: Memory is a Fragile Thing(Teren) Memory is a Fragile Thing(Teren) Icon_minitimeJanuary 5th 2015, 01:16

Pain. All the creme colored fae felt was pain. Slowly she would begin to crack an eye, blurred vision slowly starting to focus as the world began to exist to her, rising from the darkness spinning and swirling like a log through the rapids. Rolling onto her stomach the fae would feel a sudden jolt of pain as she placed her paw on the ground, causing her head to jerk quickly to the troubled paw, noticing the swelling and groaning softly.

The small thing's head ached as she felt the soft stream of blood running from her forehead. The pain filling her body would make her stomach turn as a sickening feeling came over her. Finally getting the strength up the small fae would pull herself to her paws, cringing as her whole body ached, her mind trying to figure out what had happened to cause such pain. Glancing around a thought would suddenly make her stop dead. It was winter last she remembered, yet it was now clearly Autumn. Looking back over her body a sudden feeling of shock would hit her. How much time had passed? How long had she been laying here? Where had all of these wounds and scars come from? And when did she get so big...and old. Turning in a quick circle a large branch laying on the ground next to her would catch her attention.

Looking at the massive rotten log the fae would step forward, noticing some blood splattered against it. Turning her silver orbs to the tree tops she could easily see where the branch had fallen from, and suddenly it all started to make sense. That thing had fallen on her, probably striking her in the head, and judging from her pains the back of her neck. Perhaps her paw was injured from her own fall, or the falling branch. But this only brought more questions.

Where was she, and how long had she been here? And even more importantly, who was she? Certainly quite some time had passed since the hazed memories she could manage to recall, what had she become in that time? Lifting her nose the fae would take in the scents from the air, easily recognizing the signs of a packland she had obviously began to enter.

With a sigh the creme color fae began to push herself forward, hoping someone in the pack could tell her what she was obviously missing. The throbbing pain in her head and lack of her front paw made travel difficult now. Limping forward she would let out a soft gasp of pain, a small trickle of warm blood running down the back of her head still, letting the small fae know she hadn't been laying out here for too long. Maybe by now someone was looking for her.

Memory is a Fragile Thing(Teren) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Memory is a Fragile Thing(Teren) Memory is a Fragile Thing(Teren) Icon_minitimeJanuary 5th 2015, 08:58

As the rain fell from the sky, Teren stood in the open lands. He heard the rain falling, hitting the grounds, the rocks, the trees, and everything around it. He stood still, a statue among the sleeping wolves. He cared not for them, just as a unit. In order to take down the large prey, he would need to have a large pack of capable wolves. Many of them, he felt, were not capable. One in particular had been recently demoted from Elite all the way to Warrior. Though even then he questioned himself if he was hard enough on her. She was a nuisance, a virus among the pack. She had loved the Alpha previous to his reign and swore her allegiance to him. She disrespected Teren and attempted to make him feel foolish, yet it backfired upon her. The Alpha did not liked disrespect and even more so, he did not like disloyalty. If she were to influence the other sheep of the pack, then he would have to become the monster the pack was not yet aware of. They had only seen a glimpse of the malice he held within himself. The best things for the pack were yet to come. When spring arrived, the wolves who had discovered love, mateship, and creating their young would discover true pain. One wolf he wished to feel this above the others, was Katyusha. Her dead mate had only the amount of efficient sperm for one bastard pup. He had heard the other pups fighting, training, and becoming better day by day. But he heard nothing of her young. He supposed she was training her to be a little bitch, just like her father, useless and unworthy of anyone's time. In the battle of the pups, she would surely lose the last thing of importance to her. The last thing with trailed her to Steele, but as he thought of this, he recalled the bastard son the Alpha had left behind. He had literally nothing left. No mother, no father, no siblings, and from the smells around the pack, he had no friends. The last two wolves who supported Steele blindly, were slowly losing everything. Teren would make sure they had nothing left. But Samael had been smarter than the fae, instead of facing Teren, he kept to himself and stayed within the shadows of the pack. Perhaps he had been plotting or thinking of leaving. But the Alpha male did not care. He hated the male and wished to see his blood stain the ground before him. Teren moved around the pack, sniffing each den and discovered two bodies were missing. Katyusha and her daughter. Though the rain tried its might to wash away the scents of the pack, the old wolf's nose was far too powerful. He tracked down the scent and followed it to the borders of his land. The pair had left Erenyx, perhaps for good. The large wolf moved along the borders, trying to track down where they might have run off to, and then he recalled Irrationality telling him the story of how Katyusha came to Erenyx. She was a captive and Steele had gotten sweet on her. Maybe the bitch had returned to her home and the sweet and pitiful Alphess welcomed her back with a smile and a friendly meal. The thought of that alone made the Alpha sick to his stomach. How could an Alpha be so pathetic and weak? All those wolves followed her blindly, and one day they would all come to their doom. One by one they would fall, and Teren would make sure Quinn saw Teren as the very last thing before she died. He would take both her body and Fenris hide and keep them on display within his den. He would make a bed of all the Alphas he conquered and if he ever met the original leader of Helidos, he would best him as well.

Sounds of something trying to approach peaked his interest. His head turned toward the direction of the noise. His ears perched atop his head, forward and ready. His tail swung over his back, waving like the banner of an accomplished pirate. His steps were slow and determined, silent in their own way. The fallen leaves were like landmines, liable to make noise with a single touch. His head was held high and proud, displaying his courage and dominance over these lands. His chest was pushed fully forward and his muscles were relaxed. Through his thickening fur, it was obvious to see that he was a very powerful male. Years of experience settled within his pelt and his mind set was lethal. As he made way towards the creature, the scent hit his nostrils like a sand storm. It stung the very inside like an almost dead carcass. Fresh blood lingered around the form and for a moment, he thought his best dream was becoming reality. Katyusha laid there, trying to get herself up. She was a horrid mess. Chiara had really done a number on her, and without the aid of the Healers, she was becoming nothing but a pile of bones. A sick and twisted smile appeared on his features. Shortly after, it faded, not allowing the fae to see his pleasure. His tone was dead and cold, deep and powerful as he spoke down to her. "Get up bitch. Trying to run from your home in this way is pathetic and only continues to prove what kind of wolf you are. Useless. Nothing. Pathetic. I do not know why Steele ever granted you such an esteemed rank of Elite, he must have been blinded by the stench of your heat. Luckily for me, I can see you for what you are worth. No amount of heat could ever cause me to make such a horrid decision." As he was going to continue berating her, he could sense that her young was not around her. It had at one point, but no longer. Perhaps the Warrior had finally taken the pup's life to save her of the humiliation from being related to both her and Steele. "So you are completely alone? Are you looking to come back home?"

Ever so slowly the fae would push forward, the pain in her head throbbing and making it harder and harder to focus as she began to walk towards the pack she was certain she was a member of by the scents she could find on herself. With the falling rain and throbbing pain the small thing wouldn't even notice the black beast approaching, watching her suffering from the shadows, or the sick amusement on his maw as she struggled to pull herself to her paws.

Just as the fae began to push herself forward she would flick her ears quickly, hearing the monstrous brute stepping forward her head would jerk quickly to the monster approaching her. His stance showed undying dominance, and made it very clear who was in charge of their meeting. Dipping her head low the fae would pin her ears back tight, tucking her tail between her legs as the brute approached, and instantly began hurling insults at her. With a soft whimper the fae would seem to shrink back against his massive size.

As the slur of insults was completed the fae could gather a few valuable things from it. She was a member of this pack, it was her home. At some point she had been Elite, although by his tone she doubted that was true now. And she had clearly found fondness with this Steele, who was high enough rank to give her such a promotion. If she were to guess this massive brute was the beta and Steele the alpha, and this wolf quite clearly loathed her for whatever reason.

As the verbal assault slowed his question would come to her ears, the warrior would find the question odd, but nodded slowly "Yes sir, I am alone..and I would very much like to come home sir." she replied nervously, turning her head up to look at him "Forgive me sir, but who are you again?" she asked, pausing for a moment "I think I was hit by a falling branch in the storm, and I don't remember much." she admit to him, keeping her stance low in a show of submission to the clearly dominant wolf.

Submissive. Scared. Respectful. These were the words that Teren would never before call Katyusha. But now she was an entirely different wolf. She had forgotten what seemed like so much. She did not even know who he was. How queer. A smile started to form on his lips, but he held it back. Instead, he glared at her. He looked over her form, trying to figure out exactly how he was going to fix this situation. What could he do to pull things the way he wanted? He thought about it long and hard, keeping his dominant stance above her. "You may come home, but what can you offer the pack?" He stared to her curious to what she would say. The Alpha male stood before her, judging what she might say. He knew she was useless for fighting and even hunting. But he was not going to say anything. He wanted to see what she would offer to him, to the pack, and to keep her life. "But what all do you know of yourself?"

Katyusha kept her head low as he spoke, an obvious look of relief coming to her face as he said she could come home, the fae starting to feel a little better knowing she could soon see the healer and curl up in her den to sleep off the pains that ached her entire body. But the second part of his answer would reach her and draw a pause from the fae, thinking carefully about her answer she would present to this brute. After a long pause she would speak again "Well sir...once healed I will be able to hunt, and judging from my body I was some sort of fighter...But I will do whatever you ask me to do for the pack. I will loyally serve whatever purpose the pack, or the alpha needs of me." she said honestly, "Even if I am desired only because I am female..and the...obvious uses of such." she admitted, truly hoping she was more important to the pack than that, but she honestly didn't remember. She didn't know what she had done in the pack, or in her 'past life'. All she knew was this massive demon of a brute demanded to know why she would be useful to him and the pack, and it was true that was one of her uses.

As the unknown brute presented another question to her the fae would begin to speak again "Well sir, I know I am Katyusha..I'm at least 2 years old and I left my parents pack some time ago to seek a land I can call home...I know that quite some time has passed, since my body has changed. I know that I am, or was, a member of this pack, and at some point Elite under a wolf named Steele who I am assuming is alpha. I know that at some point he was interested in me either romantically or for breeding, and that you believe it is why I was Elite...but I do not know if that is true or not. That is all I know sir, and most of that is because you told me when we first...met." she said, keeping her eyes on his paws, not daring to look the massive brute in the face but also wanting to watch and ensure he wasn't going to attack her. Although in her severely injured state the fae honestly doubted if he did there would be anything she could do to save her life. In silence she held her ground, awaiting this brute's response, finding it rather curious that he never answered who he was, until after she had told him what she recalled.

With all the realizations she was coming to find, Teren began to think of a wicked and evil plot. What is one thing the brute could really do to cause her and the bastard son some turmoil? He held his smile hidden behind a slate of emotionless facial features. His eyes glared at her as if she had been a piece of meat. As he spoke, his voice was low but no longer held an aggressive tone. "You are correct on that, Katyusha. You are a young fae, but now three or four years old, I would guess. You were accepted by an evil and malicious brute. His name was Steele and he did terrible things. He forced you to be his mate and he raped you. He abused you. And when you gave birth to your young two years ago, he killed them right before your eyes and ate their small bodies. He was a tyrant, and I knew he had to be stopped so I killed him. I took his place as Alpha and have been running the pack smoothly ever since. Sadly, before I could stop him, he demoted you to an Omega. I gave you back your status as Warrior, since another female was already the Elite. As a gift to you, I also skinned him, keeping his coat as a memento to my efforts to save this pack. In return, you may come and visit it, if you like. I also believe some cleaning is in order for me. Normally, I would handle it myself, but I feel there is another closer to the ground, which would be of more assistance to me. Do you know anyone who fits that description?" Teren looked down to her, still holding his dominant stance. His lie had come out making him to be an angel in the mosh pit of demons. But it was all a lie, a miraculous and well thought out lie. Teren would get whatever comforts he so wanted from the vile bitch, all the while, Samael would hear and possibly see the acts himself, breaking him down even more. And then it occurred to him, what if she spoke to Samael? He would surely have to brainwash her before he would let her go. "As your savior, Katyusha, I wish to warn you about Samael. He is a black wolf, tall and well fit, a young lad you many a times has tried to violate you. He is known for having one green eye and one silver eye. If you see this wolf, stay away from him at all costs. I have heard rumors he wishes to kill you." Another lie to add to the web he had already given to her. It was perfect. If she would trust him now, then Samael would be completely alienated from the pack. He would be forced to do whatever he was told and nobody would stand up for him. Nobody would have his back.

Katyusha would watch the stern brute, seeming nervous about who he was, or what he had in store for her. The monster of an alpha loomed tall above the warrior, and she knew whatever he demanded of her she must present to him, or it would be taken from her. However as he began to speak his words would make him sound like a hero, risking his life to kill this Steele and liberate her from the horrible existence she was forced to endure under his reign.

By the end of his tale of lies the warrior was convinced she would serve the alpha in any way he requested of her freedom he had fought to give her. As he finished speaking he would present to her a question, an opportunity to serve him, which she would eagerly oblige him. In her happiness she would take a bold step forward to press herself against his neck gently, pressing herself into a gentle embrace with her savior, her head held below his in submission even as she did "Thank you so much Alpha, I can never repay you for risking your life to liberate me from such abuse, but I will do anything I can to repay you in anyway you desire." she said, taking a step back before she upset him and looked up to his face to gauge his reaction "And I would be honored to clean you if you are in need sir." she said honestly, not entirely sure what he desired of her, but not thinking it was anything more than actually grooming his pelt, and for all he had done for her it was the least she could do to repay him. And then she remembered his other invitation, a nod would come to her quickly "And I would love to visit your trophy sir..to lay my eyes on the one who did this to me." she said, gesturing to the scars that would dot her body.

Looking up to his face again the warrior would listen closely as she was warned about this Samael, the little thing nodding quickly as she took his advice nodding "Thank you very much Alpha. I don't know what I would have done without you. I wish to repay you if you would allow me sir." she said softly, waiting for further instruction on how to clean or serve him as payment for all he had done for her. In the poor faes mind he was a hero to which nothing she could ever do would be enough to repay him.

As the Alpha stood before the female, he continued to look over her body. She was a young wolf, though she had already given birth to one pup. She could be useful to him, as it had been a long time since he had felt the comforts of a female. Ever since the old days in his natal pack, he had not felt one beneath him. The idea of it, with no strings attached, stirred in his mind. If she was so willing to do anything, of course she would be willing to do that. He was, after all, her "savior". What female would not throw themselves to a wolf so handsome and dominant? Was it not the way of the fae? But he could not give her a standard rank, no it would have to be different in a way. But what would he call it? He wanted any wolf who looked to her to know that she was an object which belonged to him. If any males touched her, he would rip them apart, no mercy involved. "Katyusha, for now you shall be known as Warrior Katyusha. In the near future, perhaps Winter time, you shall be known as different rank. And again, I want you to stay away from the brute named Samael. When I beckon you, you are to come to me without hesitation. If I sense even a small amount, a hair, I will excrete your bowels from your very body. I shall feast on your delicate female form and you two shall be a trophy within my den." In a last attempt to show her he was serious, he walked around her. As he stood on her other side, he bit onto her scruff. It was not a hard bite, but she would be able to tell he could cause her serious harm. As he did so, he smelled her scent, locking it into his mind. As he released her, he simply walked away. He did not speak a word. His job here had been finished and when the seasons changed, hers would only begin.
