Having been told to meet the Elite in the grassy fields the newly appointed Delta made his way swiftly here to see Kenai. With large and purposeful paw steps Marrok entered the grassy field, letting the new spring grass tickle his feet and underbelly. With spring in full swing the trace color of new flowers could be seen sprinkled on the sea of brown and green. Nerves leaked from the males pores at thoughts of training with the great Elite and ideas of what they would do started t swim. Marrok was confident in his hunting and sparing skills, though his general knowledge of pack etiquette could use some brushing up. In his old pack the Deltas would be given tests and skill drills before they could move up, he was unsure what would happen here. One of his most difficult task had been to journey up Black Mountain and return with the head of a goat from there.

The climb itself proved difficult, with steep cliffs and drops at nearly every turn. Then the goat almost made Marrok turn home, for hunting on a mountain was far more difficult then in the forest. Determination made Marrok continue on, and in a surprise attack he had returned home with the head of that damn goat. Looking around briefly he saw no such mountains which made him relived. Inside his stomach twisted at the thought of hunting a alligator in the swam or the puma in the forest. Such a hideous thing had nearly killed both him and Juno a few weeks ago and still made his blood boil. He could never let him forgive himself if anything happened to her, but luckily had driven the cat away before either of them were seriously hurt.

Bringing his thoughts back to his training the male dipped down into a series of stretches to loosen himself up for the upcoming training. Hearing his back crack his mouth curved into a grin. He had confidence in his skills, but was still nervous.

"Yes Azul. I will be sure to train him well," he said with a nod to his Alpha. As he backed out of the den slowly, he looked to the open world. With a smile on his face, he thought of his work with the Delta. But soon evil thoughts flooded his mind. He snarled to himself once he was away from the pack clearing. Steele had been doing everything in his power to anger the Elite. It was starting to work. Kenai could feel his training fall apart at the seams. The Beta was wearing down his walls, the things he knew was right. Fighting was horrible, words were the way. This was something he was going to have to instill in the Delta, but how could he when he could barely keep it together. Shaking the thoughts from his head, he pressed on. Switching from a slow pace, to a trot, he made it faster than he imagined. More thoughts crept into the back of his mind. He knew he would have to teach Marrok things he had not planned before. When he came to the Delta's side, he watched him stretch. Little did he know it would be verbal training and mental before it was going to be physical.

"Greetings, Marrok. I have been sent here to train you. I must ask you a couple questions first. When you spoke of your old pack, what ranks did you hold? What responsibilities did you do? How long did you hold each rank? This will help to figure out all I must teach you. But to be clear, you will not tell anyone of this training, nothing that I teach you is shared, or the reasoning behind it. Do I make myself clear?" His voice was calm, but his eyes were filled with a hostile glare.

Kenai's swift approach nearly made Marrok fall over in mid stretch. Catching and cursing himself mentally for a great first impression the Delta bowed to Kenai and sat down. Marrok had had little interaction with the Elite, but he knew he was a wolf of honor, someone he looked up to. His mannerism's were very similar to those of his father and they were something he hoped to perfect during their training together. His father had taught him many things, but to hold his tongue and use his words was his greatest gift. The male had a very long fuse and little set him into a blind rage, very little.

"Greetings Elite Kenai thank you for training me." He started with a smile at the male. Then suddenly questions were thrown at him leaving his head spinning slightly. "In my old pack I was first given the rank of a hunter at age two, this lasted for a five months before my father the Alpha gave me the position of lead hunter. With that rank I led the main hunts and helped to train the new hunters. When I turned three I was trained by our Captain or Elite in the art of sparring and quickly caught the attention of my father again. Three months before I left my home pack I was given the position of Beta where I met new wolves at the border, organized hunts, oversaw training and helped to scout out new land for our winter grounds." Marrok said, suddenly realizing his rank history almost sounded like boasting. In reality his father treated him too well and several times the male thought he was spoiling him with rank. One two different occasions wolves tried to take his rank of Lead hunter and Beta, but each time Marrok had secured it.

"I understand this Elite, I shall not breath a word of our training to anyone you ahve my word as a warrior." He said with a dip of his head. Thinking back he remembered training new wolves in his pack and bringing them to a secret location. The young males would be blinded by large leaves and led far from the camps to ensure secrecy.

With the words from his Delta, he smiled. Yes, Azul had picked the perfect wolf to promote to rank of Delta. He knew he could trust Marrok with anything he taught him. "Well it sounds like you have a wealth of knowledge. But no matter the experience you have, we could always learn something new. You may even teach me a thing or two." He chuckled and looked around the area, scanning the terrain. He took in a deep breath and then smiled to the other. "Azul has told me you have already greeted members at the border, which is good and we urge you to continue. If you ever need help with anything, let us know. Azul and I will be more than happy to help you along your way. But there is something that concerns me, or someone." He looked away, keeping his composure, and then looking back to his partner for the time being. "I want you to be on the look out. Something is going on with Steele, he has gotten increasingly worse in these last few weeks. Watch him closely. I think he is up to something, but I am not sure what exactly."

Marrok beamed with pride at the Elite's compliment. A wolf could never learn too much and always had room to expand and grow inside. The male knew some of his skill needed freshening up like long distance running and defensive maneuvers. Whereas some one his skills he would be glad to teach the Elite like fishing for example if he didn't already know how. "Thank you Kenai" he uttered before dipping his head again.

Watching the male's gaze travel around the area Marrok grew hushed and let his senses be on alert. Whatever Kenai would tell him next seemed to be important. Listening Marrok's eyes almost widened with shock at what he said. Spy on the Beta? Was that even allowed? Inside his head was spinning. On one hand he knew he must listen and obey his mentor for his training depended on it. On the other hand he knew he must respect his Beat no matter how much he disliked it, spying wasn't in the manual. "I can do that sir" he finally said still confused as to what he should do. If he refused it may have been a test and he just failed. If he agreed he may fail again for going behind his Beta. What a headache he had now. The more he thought about it the less he felt bad though. Watching Steele wasn't really disrespecting him, only observing, what was wrong with that? "I'm assuming I shall report to you my findings?" He questioned Kenai, feeling a little better.
