The Delta yawned and padded from her den. Beads of water glistened on rocks and plants in the early morning sunlight. A smile smile of content formed on her lips. She hadn't gotten this much sleep in weeks. Her busy schedule had made her restless and she often slept lightly. Breeze moved to the center of the clearing and stretched. She had told Reiko to meet her for a lesson in the morning. Thankfully she hadn't meant dawn, but it wasn't too much later than when the sun had first appeared for the day. Summer had finally arrived, and it was obvious due to all the lush greenery which filled the clearing. The grey female sat and looked around, searching for the white brute's den. He most likely was still asleep. If that was the case, Breeze would give him a few more precious moments to rest. The Delta would finally rise, padding over to the den of her new student and looming in front of the entrance. "Rise and shine, Reiko! Time to learn more about Agavos and the life of a pack wolf. The longer it takes you to get up, the less time you will have later to catch some breakfast, so let's go!" She barked, quietly  enough that she didn't disturb any other wolves nearby. The fae retreated back a few paces and stood waiting. It would be interesting to see his reaction. Not many wolves she had met liked to wake up this early. Her golden gaze shone bright with amusement in the sun's rays. This was going to be very interesting.

After being accepted, Reiko trudged through pack lands to the pack clearing thinking about what the Delta told him. He thought whatever the Delta told him was to keep him from humiliating himself in front of the other wolves in the pack. He agreed with her mentally and would avoid others until his lesson with her the next day. Right now his main mission was to head straight towards the pack clearing and make himself a den avoiding others as he does. He took the Delta's words very seriously.

When he got there, he scanned around the clearing and saw many dens. Hmm....They are probably taken.....and there is no wolves around it looks like it He thought as he observed the empty clearing with many holes. He continued forward in the edge of the clearing and found a spot to make his den. Perfect! Not to far and not to close to the other dens and the clearing He thought as he looked at the nearest den to him and started to dig out his den. After a few hours, his den was fully dug out. There was an overgrown green bush above his den and a medium sized green pine tree on one side of his den. He thought the pine tree would provide shade for him when he was outside of his den on hot days. Satisfied that he completely dug out his den and feeling exhausted from his long day, he immediately went inside his den. He laid down curling his tail around him and fell right asleep so well rested for his lesson the next morning.

The next morning, Reiko woke up from the Delta calling him. Is it really that time? he thought drowsily lifting his head yawning as he looked outside his den illuminated by the sunlight. It is he confirmly thought as he sluggishly got up and headed outside to meet with the Delta. When he was outside, he stretched himself out and saw the Delta sitting a few paces from his den waiting. He sighed and padded toward her tail dragging behind Why must we have our lesson SO early... he grumbled in his head. Not really happy waking up so early in the morning when they could plan their lesson later in the day. He sat in front of her bowing his head, remembering what she said about making eye contact with other wolves. "Good morning Delta Breeze. I am ready for my lesson." he drowsily greeted her. Then he felt his stomach rumbled Wow...I must be hungry he thought surprisingly remembering he didn't eat anything last night as he waited for the Delta to lead the way.

A smile graced Breeze's features as the white wolf emerged groggily from his den with a small sigh. She laughed quietly, aware that the brute probably wasn't to find of waking up early. "Good morning Reiko. I know this is a bit early for you, but I have more time in the mornings to do training and lessons." She said. The small male was smart enough not to voice any complaints. Self-discipline was important here in Agavos, so it was helpful that he already had some. She nodded to him. "I'm glad to see you remembered what I said yesterday about eye contact. To be honest, I don't mind eye contact. Still, I want you to practice not looking me in the eyes." The female explained. She began to pad towards the small prey pile and beckoned male to follow. "You have a lot to learn, so it would be unwise to waste time on catching a meal. This prey here is caught by our Hunters, so you can choose something here. I'm sure you must be hungry, and learning with an empty stomach is less effective." Breeze said with a sweep of her tail at the various pieces of prey. She waited for him to choose his meal, then moved over to a nice grassy spot in the center if the clearing and sat down.

The Delta smiled at her packmate. She knew exactly what she was going to do for the lesson. "First, let's make sure you know this clearing. Over there is the Alpha's den, obviously the place where Alpha Desmond sleeps. There is also the Autay's Den and the Healer's Den." The fae explained, her muzzle pointed to each as she mentioned them. "If a wolf is hurt or sick, they go to the Healer's Den. I shall explain the Autay's job soon enough, but I want you to learn a bit more about Agavos and what we value here in this pack." Breeze paused, wondering what the brute had been taught about packs. The best way to find out was to ask him. "Tell me what you learned about packs. What do you think they value? Did your father teach you anything specific about them? There is no good or bad answer to this question, it's just for me to figure out what your thoughts have been on packs." The grey she-wolf said. She waited, eyes sparkling with curiosity. The fae was interested to know, since she had grown up knowing only the social structure, responsibility, and mindset of a pack wolf.
