The days were getting more pleasant and warm. Breeze padded to the edge of the water. Little wisps of steam curled and danced above the surface, as if beckoning her to submerge herself in the warm pool. Farther out, a trio of geysers spewed jets of hot water that rained down on the little island of rock before trickling into the surrounding pool. Ooh, I think I like this place! No doubt that it's a popular spot to gather and relax. The large grey female thought. A smile smile curled the corners of her lips and she dipped a tentative paw into the hot spring. It was a wonderful temperature. Not so hot that it was uncomfortable, but not certainly not cool. The dusky pelted she-wolf grinned to herself and slowly waded into the water. She had made plenty of efforts to go about and see what other duties she could carry out, but mostly she had simply tried to catch prey while she explored the lands of Agavos and met her packmates. So far she had one friend, which was better than none.

A soft sigh escaped Breeze's muzzle as she moved to a deep spot. The warmth of the water soaked her her pelt, making it a bit heavier, but she didn't mind. This was nice and relaxing to watch the geysers spout the liquid from the earth. It would be fun to gather here after a hard day of work and chat with the other wolves. I must show this spot to Newt! She mused. The grey warrior moved to a slightly shallow spot to sit down, her shoulders emerging for a bit before being covered once more. Her golden gaze observed the landscape with lazy wariness as she fought of a wave of drowsiness. Any danger here would be due to lack of attention...or consciousness! I wouldn't want to drown here. Breeze closed her eyes and focused on the feeling of the water lapping at her lower neck. If there wasn't anything to keep her from relaxing to the point of drowsiness, then she wouldn't stay long. The warrior let her mind wander as the noise of the geysers calmed her.

The russet pelted male had been trying to explore every inch of the land covering Agavos, he was not sure why but exploring was definitely his favorite way to pass time. He currently had no duties to carry out, the pack was safe for the time being and prey was plentiful so he decided to get to know these new lands better. However it was a tiring job and the male widened his large jaws as a yawn escaped him before he could stop it. Grunting he shook his head to try shake away the sleepiness and carried on at a brisk trot despite his slightly aching legs. How long had he been walking without a break? The lands he was now padding along were definitely what you could call magnificent. He blinked his deep amber orbs- the sun warming his thick pelt and making him shiver with pleasure as he shut his eyes for a brief moment, letting the sun wrap around him and warm him to the bone. He then opened them and gave his whole body a quick shake. The lush grass tickled at his pads as the Warrior trotted over to the large expanse of water. Steam rose from the clear waters and Twelve blinked with surprise- he had not expected it to be heated. Now that he payed attention he could see the three geysers a little while off supplying the water with its heat. Blinking curiously he waded forward into the pleasantly warm liquid without hesitation.

As the waters worked about relaxing all his tensed muscles and soothing the aches about his body the male let himself be completely submerged by the liquid, giving the most powerful thing in the whole world his full trust. After a few moments he broke the surface and shook his head- sending water droplets everywhere, not noticing that by letting his guard down he had been silly enough to not even notice he had company and that lots of the droplets were sent in her direction. Still he was turned away from her, focused on the water as it sparkled magnificently in the sunlight. Kind of scary wasn't it how a droplet of water was so weak and insignificant yet when joined with millions and millions more it became the strongest most dangerous force in the world, impossible to fight. And you wouldn't want to destroy it either since its deadliest water was that despite the fact it claimed lives continuously they all still relied on it to live. They would all perish in a week or so without it. Shaking his head he turned and almost let out a startled noise at the sight of the other wolf however managed to hold it back. He silently cursed at himself for letting his guard down, some warrior he was- what if it had been an enemy invading the lands? He'd be dead now and they'd be progressing even further to the heart of their territory. He would have to keep much more on alert. He ran a calculating gaze over the dusky pelted wolf. Agavos, female, holding an average rank like himself- not low or high, dark dusky pelt and golden eyes.

It took him only a second to gain the info with a sweep of his amber gaze and a twitch of his nose and he then realized that he had probably splashed water over her only moments before. "Apologies ma'am I believe I probably splashed you, it was not intentional I promise. I admit I had been foolish and let my guard down and had not even been aware of your presence although I do believe you are not a threat to me as we are of the same pack, yes?" He knew they were but once she confirmed it he would know she was loyal and not someone he would have to fight to get away alive from. This pack was still new and he was still getting used to its members, some were from distant lands but some had also came from Erenyx and Helidos and those of Erenyx fought amongst eachother constantly, they appeared to like some seriously brutal sparring as they called it. Rolling his shoulder he lifted his tail out of the warm waters and flicked it from side to side gently as to not cover either of them in more droplets.

[Sorry if it sucks, can't even being to explain how exhausted I am and I hurt my wrist while camping so replies may be slow sorry!]

The calming movement and hear of the water caused the large she-wolf to relax. Breeze was not really aware of her surroundings, for her eyes were closed. The warrior did not hear the other wolf approach. Instead she had opened her eyes just a tiny bit to moved a bit deeper, letting the water slide up to her neck before she closed her eyes once more. The sweet pleasure of the water's warm embraced lulled her into a blissful state as she sat in the steaming pool. This would undoubtedly become her favorite spot in Agavos...although the forest was always fun too. The only sounds were that of the water surrounding her and the distant geysers. Water against fur and water against rock. Nothing more. For a few more moments she stayed like this, her mind peacefully blank. It felt good to relax.

Suddenly, there was another wading into the waters. Breeze let her golden gaze adjust to the light as she opened her eyes to observe her company. It was an earthen pelted male, clearly carrying the scent of Agavos. The wolf was totally oblivious to her presence as he moved into the deeper part of the pool. His amber eyes closed as he went beneath the surface, fully submerged. A lazy smile of amusement danced upon her lips as he went under, and she closed her eyes, fully prepared for him to resurface and probably shake himself as he did so. He hadn't noticed her at first, so she assumed he would do so since the brute thought he was alone. She had predicted correctly. The wolf emerged from the depths with a  small huff, and shook water from his head and neck. Breeze kept her eyes shut right as the water splattered her face, then she relaxed, letting her golden orbs gaze at him once he was done. He was facing away from her, his wet pelt gleaming with tones if gold, bronze, deep mahogany, black, and and cream while he gazed around at the amazing sight of the water. He was a large brute, larger than the dusky female who was certainly a respectable size. With a shake of his head the male turned back around towards her.

It was clear that her presence startled him, most likely out of horror at his own lack of attention, since she obviously hadn't just appeared out if nowhere. He watched her for a moment, then seemed to realize she had been splashed. The dusky she-wolf watched him calmly as he finally noticed her. Slight amusement sparked in her golden gaze as he frantically tried to make amends for his lack of attention. His words prompted a small laugh of amusement from the fae. Oh I hope he doesn't mind my humor...I can't resist! Breeze thought. She sat up straighter and gave him a small smile. It wasn't quite a smirk, but there was a small hint of smugness to the curve of her lips. "That's quite alright. I noticed you enter the water, so I assumed you would shake out your fur." She replied.

"As for letting your guard down, these waters seem lull swimmers into a blissful state, and I was no better at noticing your arrival until you were moving in the water. But if you wish to relax and let your guard down again, I can keep watch...as any warrior should. I have had more than my fair share of quiet time here." The grey female let her smile widen into a grin as she stood to stretch. Her muscles rippled beneath her soaked pelt, which was a smoky black color when wet. Breeze hoped she seemed friendly, even though she teased him a bit about letting his guard down. The brute was probably wondering who she was. In fact, he had asked who she was. "Yes, packmate. I am Warrior Breeze...most just call me Breeze. I joined Agavos after wandering far from the lands my birth pack, so now I'm trying to learn the territory." The she-wolf explained. Her stance was relaxed and calm as she spoke. One ear flicked back to fling off excess water to the side.

[that's totally ok! Hope you feel better. :)]

The water lapped at the top of his legs temptingly, calling to the male to once again wade out into their relaxing depths but he resisted it. He had already failed at doing what was expected of a Warrior, he would not fail at being polite as a packmate should either. Blinking calmly, he was relieved by her reaction to his splashing her. He did not know where she came from and since this pack was made from wolves new to these lands, Helidos and Erenyx it could have been pretty much any type of reaction. Especially if she had come from Erenyx, he didn't fancy getting into a fight over a bit of water. Fortunately the dark pelted fae seemed to think similarly and she merely smirked in his direction at his words. He raised a brow and returned the gesture, a coy grin pulling playfully at the corners of his maw. Normally he would keep the sterner business side on show to those he was not too familiar with but sure, the odd flicker of playfulness was hardly a negative emotion to have. He nodded at her words, amber gaze unwavering as he gazed at her neutrally, small smile still present. His ears twitched calmly as she spoke and he let his muscles loosen, she was no threat to him- he was pretty sure anyway. However he would still be ready to spring into action if need be and he stood on the tips of his toes without even realizing in the steady waters.

He listened intently before giving his head a quick shake. "No, no it is quite alright. If I give in to the temptation of these waters I might not ever get out again." He chuckled, proceeding to wade towards the shore before pulling himself fully out of the warm waters. He gave himself a thorough shake [making sure none hit the dusky female this time] before leaning back on his haunches and returning his focus to her. Despite the warm sunlight he was chilly after being in such warm waters but he knew the sunlight would soon dry his damp fur and the natural warmth would return to his body. He blinked with interest as she began to speak of who she was and where she came from. Warrior Breeze, a warrior just like himself. He became further interested upon realizing she had come from distant lands rather than coming from Helidos or Erenyx. That was obviously why he hadn't recognized her from Helidos but she had seemed a tad bit too nice to have lived within the borders of Erenyx for any length of time. He stood and padded along the slippery pebbles carefully before once again leaning back on his haunches when reaching a spot closer to where Breeze was located in the waters.

Finally he spoke, slight smile still lingering. "I have lived in these lands quite a while now despite Agavos being new. Before I joined this pack and before it was created I lived in the lands of Helidos." He blinked calmly, gaze distant and thoughtful before he spoke again. "Before Helidos I used to live with my parents, but things happened...." He trailed off, smile gone and gaze darkened before he shook his head, eyes clearing. "But let's not go there." A gentle smile played along his features and he was surprised at how much better he had gotten at pushing the past thoughts away. "So what was it that intrigued you to travel to these lands?" He asked curiously. Enough about him, he was curious to know more about his fellow warrior.

The brute blinked, perhaps with surprise or relief at her calm reaction, and grinned back at her playfully. His response was neither overly friendly nor cold, but rather a bit cautious. He was keeping his distance, not physically but mentally and emotionally. Not that Breeze had expected anything else. She was used to conversing with strangers in this manner, for she had done so throughout her journey to Agavos. A nod from the earthen pelted male indicated that he was listening. He was somewhat relaxed, although not nearly as at ease as the Caretaker had been. No, this wolf was a Warrior. Breeze could see it in the way he acted, the way he conducted himself and how he spoke of letting his guard down. The brute shook his head and declined the offer with a small laugh. She smiled again and nodded. She could understand why he would be wary of the water. It was a powerful thing, and it's tendency to lull the swimmers to such a relaxed state could result in drowning.

After climbing to shore and shaking out his pelt, the male had sat and listened to Breeze speak. Apparently the spot wasn't quite where he wanted to be, for he moved closer to where the she-wolf stood. The grey female listened intently as her packmate spoke up about how he arrived in Agavos. Helidos. Breeze had no doubt it was the more peaceful neighboring pack she had heard about. Apparently there were three: Agavos, Helidos, and another pack which focused on Rae strength and brutality...or so she had been told. The dusky pelted warrior dipped her head in acknowledgement. "Pasts can be dark. So I don't mind staying off the subject." She reassured him quietly, moving to sit closer to him. In fact, she wanted to feel the warmth of the water, so she lasted down in the shallows and let the liquid lap at her sides. It almost covered her back, but not quite.

She returned his smile. "I'm glad you have found a home, just as I am glad I have found mine." The fae said. His last question had been anticipated, so she didn't need to think of an answer for very long. "Well...I had left my pack because it was taken over by a bunch of freaks and murderers...and I just wandered here because I heard there were good packs in this area and in nearby lands, so I decided to see what it was like around here...and then I found Agavos and asked Desmond to join." Breeze explained. "As for exploring these particular lands in Agavos, I'm a warrior, so I need to know what lands I hunt in and defend. I have been exploring the territories and meeting my packmates. Are you liking Agavos so far? Oh..and may I ask what your name is?"

PostSubject: Re: Relax and Enjoy The Day [Warrior Twelve, private] Relax and Enjoy The Day [Warrior Twelve, private] Icon_minitimeJuly 30th 2015, 14:07

Twelve sat and watched as the sun danced on the water, causing him to squint slightly. He watched patiently as she moved closer, wading into the shallows however still remaining in the warm waters. He could feel the sun resting on his pelt and was pleased at how quick it was drying, feeling a pleasant tingling sensation traveling over him- Twelve stretched out his paws contentedly and allowed himself to loosen his muscles. However he was always ready to change this if anything showed any signs of being a threat to him, the fae or his pack. His amber orbs glittered and he fought back the longing to yawn as it could come off as rude, it was merely the heat making him drowsy but with a grunt he shook it off and sat tall again- ears perked forward. As she spoke of staying away from pasts Twelve gave a grateful nod in response, he did not wish to destroy the peaceful atmosphere with tales of death and loss. His little coy smile remained fixed on his face, eyes glittering mischievously as he listened attentively as she spoke of what led her to join Agavos. His expression turned more serious as murderers came into the conversation and he dipped his head when she was finished. "I'm sorry to hear of such things happening Miss Breeze and I am happy to know you are now safe within the borders of Agavos. It is certainly interesting meeting one of the wolves who did not come from Helidos or Erenyx but from lands far away." He tilted his head to the side, eyes seeming to almost twinkle as the sun danced off them causing the amber to light up like a flame. He nodded in agreement. "Yes likewise, I am also a Warrior and was exploring the packlands, there is some beautiful places here isn't there? I am glad Desmond claimed these lands. And yes I am, I don't know if this will be the pack I belong in just yet, I get very picky..I guess it's just a sense of wanting to belong y'know? My parent's were both from different packs so I was always a secret and then in Helidos, I was hardly known and did not manage to gain many friends. Hopefully it'll be different here…" He murmured, trailing off and gazing out across the tranquil waters. He had suffered from the simple feeling of just not belonging anywhere for a long time and wanted things to be different someday so badly. Shaking his head, he returned his attention to his fellow Warrior as she spoke once again. Embarrassment hit him when he realized he had forgotten to introduce himself, how rude! "I am so sorry, how could I forget. My name is Twelve, Warrior Twelve." He dipped his head, eye's shining sheepishly. He could not think ofanything else to say and he shifted his weight on the pebbles, feeling awkwardness creep up his spine. He was some failure, no wonder he never made permanent alliances with anyone. When he was just showing his business side it was fine, but his personal side seemed like a mess.

The female noticed how the warmth of the sun's rays lulled him into a relaxed state as easily as the water had. She had to make an effort not to laugh as he stretched out. It was probably time for her to dry off too. Breeze gave a smile and a nod at his words for her past. His amber gaze sparkled in the light as he gazed at her. He spoke of the beauty of Agavos. It was no surprise to hear that he was a Warrior also getting to know the lands here. His next words, however, were what truly caught her interest. "I'm sure that was hard. Still, you must make a place your home, because no other wolf can do that for you. This new pack is what you make of it. Perhaps it might be different, but that is to be expected. You can never truly find the same home as you had in the past. It can be similar, but never the same. Even if I went back to my old home, it would not be the same." The large fae said softly. "It's difficult to choose between wandering to find the right pack, and spending time making the pack you found into your home. I had the difficulty of such a choice during my travels, but made my choice when I found Agavos." The fae continued. She grinned at the earth colored brute, trying to cheer him up. "You can call me a friend if you would like." She offered.

She waited for him to introduce himself. Finally, he turned his attention back to the conversation, clearly embarrassed. A small laugh escaped her muzzle as he frantically appologized and told her his name. Twelve... What an interesting name! I like it though. She thought as he spoke. "That's perfectly ok! You are allowed to be thoughtful you know. As for forgetting introductions, I've had that happen quite a bit in the past. I sometimes do that too. Anyway, it's nice to meet you Twelve." She replied warmly. The brute gave her a sheepish look and shifted uncomfortably. With a small smile, Breeze rose from the hot spring. Water streamed from her dark pelt, which hugged her form. "Excuse me for a second..." She murmured, and quickly bounded farther away from him to shake her fur out. Once satisfied with her pelt, the she-wolf trotted back over to her packmate. So how about we go explore more? Our pelts will dry along the way. It's such a nice day out...we should make the most of it! What do you say Twelve?" Breeze said. The dusk pelted female flashed a friendly grin and sat as she waited for his decision. Once the brute replied, she would nod and rise to her paws. She padded away from the geysers and temptingly warm waters, breaking into a lope once her paws hit grass instead of rock. If Twelve followed, she would glance behind her every so often, grinning as she moved across the land. Breeze always felt carefree whenever she ran. Hopefully Twelve had enjoyed their chat as much as she had. Even if the multicolored wolf didn't join her, she would still go exploring. The grey she-wolf laughed lightly with excitement. It was nice to enjoy such a nice day, especially with her packmates.
