Meurtrier trotted across the snowy ground, picking up the faint, musky scent of pack wolves. She moved quickly towards the border, ready to become one with herself again. She knew it was time in her heart, it is what Cora and her mother would have wanted. She had isolated herself for far too long, now it was time to embrace her inner potential and become a pack wolf. She knew she would be a helpful addition to this pack in the winter. She was a skilled hunter and could support herself as well as other wolves easily. She moved forward silently, not making a sound in the snow. Small paws hardly made any sound at all, especially in the snow. The white fae seemed like a ghost, silent in white in the quiet, snowy atmosphere. Winter was her favorite season because she was easily disguised and she loved the way silence engulfed the world around her. She effortlessly glided through the snow until she smelled the strong markers along the border. She wrinkled her nose, unfamiliar to the scent of pack wolves.

With her maw pointed to the sky, Meurtrier let out a booming howl, letting the wolves know she was there. She was ready to face anyone. She groomed her fur quickly, making sure she was presentable. Her amber eyes burned, hoping somebody would soon answer her call. She couldn't handle her anxiety anymore, she just wanted to be surrounded by the presence of warm bodies and the fragrant, woodsy smell of another wolf's fur. Her paws tingled with excitement at the thought of her silently running through the snow with other wolves, their breaths forming a large cloud above them. She twitched her muzzle, attempting to get the snow out of her whiskers. The grey clouds above her made her feel comforted and at peace with herself. The feeling was pure bliss and sincerity. She leaned back on her haunches and tilted her head to the side, awaiting for the moment in which she would see a wolf galloping towards her.

A howl. It was sent through the wind quickly and suddenly. His attention was caught from his morning patrol, turning his body towards the border, he trotted off. He could  scent someone from near ahead. A female. He could smell the heat of the female a lot more frequently in the winter months, so it was easy to tell what gender it was at the border. Trotting slowly through the winter forest, his paws made crunching sounds as they broke the thing layer of ice that covered the soft know beneath. His eyes ahead to see who was potentially at the border, looking to cause harm, or looking to find a home. His morning was a little hard to get up to, as he was struggling to leave his warm den in the cold mornings. It was a struggle that he wished he didn't have to face. Morning were not his favorite when he was comfortable and completely content on just snacking through the day and singing cuddled up in his den on the winter days that seemed slow.

Padding forward, he spotted the other wolf through the bare branches of the shrubs. Approaching with a sign of dominance over his body, he faced the female. "I am Delta Malachai. I serve under Alphess Chiara and Alpha Magnus of Pyrvanthros. Why have you summoned me?" His voice was deep but calm. Looking over the smaller body carefully. Wondering what rank it was she requested if that was her intent at this time and place.

She looked at the brute standing in front of her. Except for his size and his stunning blue eyes, the wolf in front of her was almost identical. His deep voice was calm and unfazed, yet his stance was dominant and stern. He appeared to be gentle though. Meurtrier dipped her head in respect, letting her ears sink against her head. "I've come to join your ranks, dear Delta." She said swooping her tail low to the snowy ground. "I know winter is upon the lands, but I can offer you myself. I am good at hunting, so I could earn my keep as well as feed others. I could be a hunter." She said, rolling her tongue over her small pointed teeth and then her cold nose. It was a nice day, the blistering winds only penetrating her fur once in a while. She yawned, realizing she was a little weary and worn after travelling for a long time. She rolled her shoulders, attempting to relieve some of the stiffness. She redirected her attention back to the Delta, dipping her head again to show respect once more.

The Delta looked over the pale-coated female. His attention was drawn to her lack of submission, but there was respect with her. A small snarl snipped form his lips as he watched as she showed no submission whatsoever. "I suggest that when you encounter the alphas, you show some submission. It is a large sign of respect, you know." His eyes looked over her. He questioned her ability, and he was in no way afraid to tell her so. She was smaller than he, and seemed to be a little full of herself and her abilities. She was not like the others he had encountered at the borders. She seemed to have no worries of wether she would be turned away or not. She almost seemed sure that she was going to gain entrance into Pyrvanthros. "Well, Meutrier. Before I even consider allowing you to enter into this pack, you must answer a few questions. First, have you killed another wolf? If so, why? Second, do you swear your life to this pack? I am the only high rank here other than that alphas and it is my job to ensure that those who I allow into the pack are worthy of running with our way of life. Lastly, what can you give to the pack? What skills do you posses that can be of use to us? We are a pack that wants all our members to be well-rounded, meaning that all wolves have some sort of experience in all aspects of pack life. Are you capable of learning such things?" His cyan eyes were fixated on the body before him. He was curious to her responses, wishing slightly that she would say something that she shouldn't to give him a reason to be a little harsh. Something about this female made his body tense and a little aggressiveness filling his body. Maybe he just was having a bad day? He had no idea. His tail was curled above his back, but not as high as Magnus' or Chiara's would be in such a situation. It was just enough to show that he meant business and was not going to play games, not today.
