Arrelys stood on the snow filled terrain and admired the setting's beauty. She never knew the lavender leaves would stand out perfectly with all the snow and icicles. Just looking at the view made her day a bit better than it already was. Not too long ago, she got accepted into the pack by Delta Breeze. The high ranking wolf's calm and graceful attitude made the acceptance process a lot easier. The whole event went better than she expected. In her birth pack, the leader of the wolf patrol would handle the outsiders roughly. It was the pack's way of letting loners or rogues know that lack of loyalty and responsibility won't be tolerated. Therefore, outsiders who didn't meet the guidelines were harshly rejected. Arrelys felt the worse for one wolf in particular, Zarczguar. After being rejected for lack of respect for the authorities, he lashed out on one of her pack members. Her sister, Taffeta, ordered him to be killed. His body was left on the border as a sign for the others of what the tribe was made off. The she wolf's body still shivers at the thought of the gruesome death.

The cream fae began to let all of the thoughts go. Negative thoughts weren't healthy for her mind. She'd rather think about happy things in her life. Unfortunately, there weren't many fun memories in her past. But the good thing about her was her ability to think of the future, like a "visionary" wolf. In her free times, she would daydream about her own picture of her destiny. Of course, they were minimal to her back then. After all, destinies were shaped by individuals and their environments. Arrelys sighed in comfort as she sat down and continued to admire the gorgeous setting. Little did she know, her silence would be interrupted.

Tatu's large sturdy paws crunched through the frost layered snow, as she tread along. Her paws leading her in no particular direction, her pale yellow oculars fixed forward. Thickly furred ears however swiveled to and fro, seeking any little hint of danger. She'd finally started to relax whilst in the borders of Pyrvanthros. Yet she still remained tense every time she wondered outside the pack's border. Yet despite this she still liked to roam outside the sanctuary of her home. The lands surrounding Pyrvanthros were just as beautiful, peaceful too. Sure on occasion one would run into a not so pleasant wolf such as the Erenyx's leader Teren, but for the most part things remained quiet. It was this quiet Tatsu reveled in as she started to trod through the land called Lavender's grace. She'd been there before and wished to pass through quickly. She however is distracted by the unfamiliar musk of another fae. Nose twitching, Tatsu froze, her pale oculars scanning her surroundings. There amongst the vibrant leaves she spotted a white fae. Wary, yet curious Tatsu approached from the side. She made no effort to be quiet not wishing to startle the fae. She didn't quite recognize the scent that mingled in the she-wolf's fur. Once within a few feet she stopped, holding her tail mid level her shoulders rolled forward some. It was an instinctive action for the warrior in case of attack. " I've never seen you around before." She calls out her voice was soft, yet it held a fierceness to it. It broke the silence announcing Tatsu's presence if her movements hadn't. " Where might you come from? Who do you serve?" She inquires her piercing yellow oculars roaming over the fae. Taking in her size, which was slightly smaller than herself, her muscle tone, the way she held herself. Seeking scars that might suggest she was a warrior or something of higher rank. She found nothing to suggest it and waited to hear the fae speak.

Arrelys twitched her ears toward the sound behind her and immediately caught the scent of a wolf. The cream she wolf stood up and turned to face a brown she wolf. The scent of that wolf told her that she wasn't part of the Agavos pack. Just then, she realized that this was neutral territory. Anyone could be here. A slight smile appeared on her face when the other fae claimed that she wasn't familiar to her. "Of course not, I just got accepted into the Agavos Pack recently. I won't smell like them yet." Her tail wagged slightly to the side. "I came from the Cerago Tribe. Since my parents were high ranked, my sister and I became high ranked as well. During my time there, many unpleasant things happened and I left. Anyways, it's a bit far from here. I would say that luck brought me to the Agavos border. I serve as hunter of the pack."

The cream she wolf began to study the brown fae in front of her. She noted that the wolf was slightly larger and was muscular. Arrelys wouldn't be surprised if the wolf was some type of fighter. "What pack do you come from? What is your rank?" A look of curiosity gleamed in her amber colored eyes. If the she wolf was going to ask about herself, Arrelys may as well get to know her too. Speaking of which... "Oh excuse me, my name is Arrelys." A little giggle came from her throat. Well, what a perfect way to introduce yourself lass, wow.

Tatsu had watched in silence as the tan fae realized she was no longer alone. Taking in the way she reacted to being greeted, relaxed tail swaying. Mirroring this Tatsu, twitched her short tail slightly. She wasn't one to get too friendly on first meeting another. But since her arrival in Pyrvanthros she had improved at making friends. Her trust in others slowly starting to be repaired. Her trust however did not quite extend to this amber eye'd fae before her, not yet. Listening as the fae spoke, Tatsu cocked her broad skull sideways. " Agavos you say?" She repeats having never heard the name before. It wasn't surprising however she had only been in the area for a short period of time. Allowing the fae to continue Tatsu blinked down intently at her. It always surprised her when others went on about their lives in detail to a stranger. Tatsu had never managed to be so carefree with her past. Preferring to keep her personal life, personal. " I see." She murmurs unsure what she was suppose to glean from the fae's words, other than she was now a hunter. Whatever it was she didn't have long to ponder when the fae inquired about her own identity. Standing up a bit straighter Tatsu inclines her head slightly in greeting. " My name is Tatsu, I am a warrior of Pyrvanthros." Her voice just loud enough to be heard but filled with pride. After introducing herself Tatsu stepped back and allowed her thickly muscled haunches to sink into the cold snow below.
Now sitting the creamy tan of her chest and underbelly was revealed. It worked its way down her thickly boned face, over her throat broken up by the charcoal grey of her neck fur, before slipping down her chest, belly and limbs. Tucking her sturdy paws neatly beneath her, Tatsu eye'd the fae as she spoke. " Well Hunter Arrelys, it is nice to make your acquaintance." She remarks, ears met with the fae's soft giggle. Pulling her black lips back, Tatsu attempts a small smile. She still wasn't one for smiling. She never really had been, even before her life had been turned upside down. She had however learned that her cold exterior often was off putting to others. Making them defensive and edgy around her, something Tatsu didn't really wish to foster in those she met. " So this Agavos you speak of. Where do they call home and who do you answer to?" She asks wishing to gain knowledge of the packs within age. She disliked being out of the loop.

Arrelys watched the brown fae in silence and took in her energy. From her perspective, she thought of the wolf as someone who was... a bit dubious. Not in a bad way. The cream she wolf knew that some wolves were more skeptical than others when meeting acquaintances. She found herself to being in between. Some wolves gave her good vibes and the others...not so much. In this case however, the vibes she received were fair, maybe pleasant. Arrelys blinked when the she wolf echoed the name like she hadn't heard of it before. For a moment, she wondered how long was she apart of one of the packs. Maybe she was new as well? The she wolf's thoughts were washed away when she heard the other fae's murmur. Noticing a little piece of the she wolf's personality, she could tell that she didn't want to share a bit of her past. She even wondered what the other thought about her words of the past. Arrelys never really cared to hide her past because it was just the past. After all, her background was short and sweet. If she was talking to an enemy about her past, he/she wouldn't likely torment her due to lack of valuable information.

"Nice to meet you, Tatsu," Arrelys said calmly. "You seem to be proud of your place in the Pyrvanthros." The she wolf quickly noted in her mind that Tatsu wasn't the wolf who smiled a lot. The attempt to smile was obvious as daylight. But that wasn't going to keep her from being optimistic and friendly...unless the warrior did anything to harm or offend her. Arrelys had two sides: the spontaneous and optimistic side...and the bossy and sarcastic side, which was known to be seen during her tempers. Her intense amber gaze went back to Tatsu when the fae asked about her new home. "The Agavos is located in the South and its leader is Alpha Desmond." She said simply. "What about yours?"

[ OOC: Apologies for making you wait so long!]

Tatsu's proud words are met by Arrelys's calm tone. They seemed sincere enough, like the fae's intense amber gaze. Yellow oculars still fixed on the cream colored wolf before her, Tatsu nods her thick head slightly at the fae's comment. " I am grateful to call Pyrvanthros my home." She remarks, her pink tongue licking her cold nose. The action highlighting the crescent moon shaped scar over the top of Tatsu's muzzle. " My pride in what I do is partly how I show how appreciative I am." She murmurs, " I forgot to appreciate my life for what it was once before and I don't plan on making that mistake again." She finishes in a more serious tone, eyes still glued to Arrelys. When the fae answers her inquiry about Agavos, Tatsu nods some curiously. " I see... I have only been apart of Pyrvanthros a short period of time. I have yet to hear of Agavos or your leader until now. Pyrvanthros is located in the north..." She continues turning her broad boned skull to the north as she spoke. Looking back to the cream colored fae she continues, " We are lead by Alphess Chiara and Alpha Magnus." She says thinking of their tiny alphess and her mate. " We're a fairly new pack to the lands but gaining in numbers every day." She finishes, wondering how many of the already existing packs in Age knew of Pyrvanthros.

Arrelys calmly sat in front of Tatsu. The pride the larger she wolf had was unmistakable. It would take a wolf with no brain to say that she didn't take pride in being in the new pack. Part of her wished that she shared the same feeling. Don't worry, it takes time, she thought to herself. Her intense amber gaze went back to Tatsu. "Well, your pack is lucky to have you." The cream she wolf gave her a small nod. "To have someone dedicated and loyal...from what I've heard from your words." Arrelys shifted lightly. She wasn't used to giving compliments, especially to someone she just met. But for some reason, the whole situation felt different from a usual conversation.

"Well, I haven't been here for a long time. I just arrived very recently," Arrelys looked around her surroundings. "All of this seem a bit new to me...though I've been in a pack before. I guess being alone for eight months takes a toll on someone not planning to be pack-less forever." The she wolf's legs began to hurt from the way she rested them. Slowly, she stood up and began to stretch it out to soothe the pain. A little smile appeared on her face when she looked back at the warrior. "I apologize, my legs started hurting..." Arrelys started to change the topic. "So what do you hope to accomplish in your lifetime?"

Tatsu felt a sudden twinge of guilt creeping up on her. Was her pack truly lucky to have her? A fae who'd abandoned her own pups? Left them behind, left her pack behind all to run away? Shoving these misgivings away Tatsu, shifts her weight some, her paws feeling numb amongst the snow. " Don't kid yourself." She says chuffing away her guilt. " I'm no saint. I owe Pyrvanthros for their acceptance of me at a time of weakness. The luck was all mine. I'm not worth the compliments lass." She says swinging her head up to shake snowflakes from her face. Once finished, she let her head fall back down to a more comfortable position eying Arrelys. She wasn't quite sure why she had felt the need to dismiss the fae's compliment. A normal wolf would of just accepted it, despite any misgivings. But Tatsu had been receiving false praise her whole life, she was fed up with accepting something she wasn't worthy of receiving. Saved from stumbling deeper into her own dark thoughts, Tatsu listens to Arrelys words. Her broad skull masked with creamy tan fur on the bottom and charcoal grey on the top, tilted as she watched the fellow fae speak. " You'll get used to it." Tatsu remarks remembering her months of solitude. " We're not born to live alone, eventually this whole pack way of life will weasel its way back into your head. Your just a bit rusty." She says her black lips pulling back in one of her half smiles. She had no idea why she was trying to comfort this stranger. Perhaps she was loosing her mind, or maybe just in a good mood.

Suddenly Arrelys was back on her paws, and Tatsu watched as she stretched restlessly. Doing her best to remain seated, Tatsu was taken aback by the fae's last question. She hadn't expected such a deep personal question, but now she was faced with one. Swallowing dryly, Tatsu hesitates trying to hide the emotions that wished to surface. What did she hope to accomplish? Not long ago her answer would of been easy. To become the Alphess of her northern valley pack and rule it as she saw fit. To raise a family of her own and continue her parents legacy. Yet that had all been squashed after her father's betrayal. Now what did she want to do with her life? Squander it away as a simple warrior? Live in the murky clutches of her past? No.... but what then? " Hell if I know." She says after a long silence. Attempting to chuckle she shrugs her broad shoulders. " A few months ago if you would of told me I'd be a warrior in some new pack hundreds of miles from my old home, I would of laughed you out of my territory. But here I am trying to....." Her voice falters and she scoffs. Her pale yellow oculars narrow and she snorts. " It doesn't matter." She says shaking her skull, she stops when her head starts to hurt from the motion. " How about yourself? Do you have your life all figured out? Cause I sure as hell don't."

The guilty feelings of Tatsu went over to Arrelys like mad wind. She immediately felt the other wolf's feelings right after she asked the question. Even the she wolf's words proved her predications correct. Turning her head to the side, Arrelys began to bite her lower lip. That was an idiotic move on her part. The cream she wolf didn't have any idea of what Tatsu had been through, and yet she gave out the compliment so easily. Instead of accepting the compliment, the brown she wolf felt guilt and answered the question a bit...undeservingly? Yes, that was the word. In her head she began to question about what terrible event happened during her lifetime. Family? Herself? Mate? I don't even know, she thought dismissively. I'm not going to pry, she's still an acquaintance. Heck if my past was so jacked up, I wouldn't tell a stranger right away either. While the thoughts in her head spilled, she missed half of what Tatsu said,

"You're just a bit rusty".

Arrelys narrowed her eyes slightly, but not enough to notice. She tightly bit her tongue so her retort wouldn't come out. Remembering the dialogue between her acquaintance, they were on good terms. Arrelys didn't want to mess that up. I may have missed something for all I know! The she wolf looked back at Tatsu. Her eye contact wasn't there for a while and it made her begin to wonder if the wolf in front of her felt ignored. For the rest of the time, she thought herself. I'll give her my full attention.

"Actually, I have my life planned out. Well, it depends on what the future holds. Everyone shapes their own destiny...anyways. I would like to hold a high ranking position to again. Months ago prior to me leaving my pack, I promised to let the past go and start fresh. I want to serve the pack best by leading others... and having the chance to embrace the feeling of having someone looking up to me. That was something I never had at my birth pack."   Arrelys sat up and sighed. "Perhaps that's not all to it, but right now, I'll just wait and see what happens in the time I'm here. Over time, I may change my mind about my goals. So to be honest...I'm not all the way sure." The cream she wolf kept the whole reply short and simple. There was no need to bring up unnecessary details. "All I can do know it be the best wolf I can be and serve my pack well."

Tatsu hadn't much noticed Arrelys internal battle, but she had noticed the fae's slip in attention. Wondering what the fae must of been thinking of her, Tatsu shifts her paws. Had she gone and made another wolf edgy and distant with her? Remembering her brief encounter with Warrior Amatis, Tatsu sighs inwardly. Perhaps she hadn't gotten better socially, perhaps she was fooling herself. It wasn't long however when Arrelys started speaking once more. Relieved her voice remained light and friendly as before, Tatsu relaxed a bit. Her thick ears swiveling to catch what the tan fae had to say. Noticing that she started out sure of herself and ended on a less confident statement. At least I'm not the only one with conflictions, she thought as Arrelys finished speaking. Her broad boned skull dipping some to show she had heard the fae's words. " I suppose that is all we can do. Serve our chosen packs to the best of our ability and hope that things go our way down the line." She remarks, her dark thoughts slowly receding back into the depths of her head. Hiding for another time where they could reek havoc on her mind. " Perhaps the next time we meet we'll both of figured things out." She adds shrugging her thickly muscled shoulders some. " Who knows..." Her voice trails off and Tatsu rises back to her paws. She had her limits to how long she could stay still and converse with another. That limit had been reached. " I don't mean to be rude, but I would like to continue my walk. There are many lands I have yet to explore here and this place I have had my fill of." Nodding around to the lavender leaves, she continues. " Feel free to join me, if you please. I wouldn't mind your company Hunter Arreyls." She finishes hoping to show she wished to be friendly with the fae. Perhaps not friends per say but acquaintances on good terms at least.

Arrelys began to stand up and stretch once again. That time however she felt restless. I guess that's how it is like for hunters, she thought. "All we can really do is work hard and hope. It's really up to the alphas. I prefer to take my time," she chuckled lightly at the last sentence. There were times when she can be impulsive, but it wouldn't do any good for that situation anyways. "Yeah...maybe by that time we learned more about our packs and ourselves. It may take longer though." The cream she wolf listened as Tatsu trailed off and began to speak about her walk. Arrelys agreed. As a hunter, she wasn't used to sitting around for a long time. Her constant stretches during the conversations would tell a lot. "I'll accompany you." Talking to the she wolf was nice though it was their first time ever speaking. Also, she haven't been looking around that much either. She's still a newbie. Lavender's Grace was the only territory she'd visited so far.
