Paws kicked up snow as they pounded against the frosty ground. The wolf they carried running at a swift lope, his long narrow form appearing rather gangly in the moonlight. His dark fur making him look like little more than a running shadow, as he slipped over the ground. His long pink tongue hung from the side of his mouth as he ran, his lungs stinging as they drew in icy cold air. Slowing as he topped a bank, the brute let out a huff of cold air, his deep amber eyes glistening in the light of the moon. Pausing at the very top of the icy mound, Teeku eyes lit up at the sight which met his oculars. Before him for as far as he could see, was a rumbling ocean. Its peaceful waves crashed against the shore like any other ocean's did but it was no ordinary sea water. No this water glowed with hundreds of tiny little globes of light. Giving the entire thing an eerie, yet beautiful complexion. Completely fascinated, Teeku started down the bank his eyes glued on the water, a gust of salty air slapping him in the face. Shivering in the cold, Teeku didn't let the temperatures deter him from moving closer to the mysterious waters.

Loveless And Watch Me Bleed,

Winter was once more proving to be boring to the large brute. The familiar crunch of the snow beneath his paws, or the bite of the cold that nipped his pads and nose were still the same. The feeling of the new layer of fur to protect his body was also nothing but a formality. From what he knew, the bitch he had fought ing the war was now pregnant with Teren's pups. But that wasn't surprising, either. The little she-wolf at the borders was nowhere in sight, and by god he was thankful for that. She may be willing, and good for nothing else, but she didn't lure him in as he might wish. And that was how he differed from his brother, he had to be lured in to taking a female. Otherwise his body just seemed to reject it. Of course he had taken advantage of the females way back when in the older days, and yes he had enjoyed it. But after that incident, after that separation, it gave him no satisfaction. He had done it so many times before, but there was something missing now. The sense of accomplishment? That seemed almost wrong, which it actually was. For the Elite to be content, he has to find some sort of pleasure, not necessarily sexual or intimate, in the task. And that was what was missing from his life here.

The war had given him that satisfaction, but that was now wearing off. He had made apologies for his brother's actions, acted like the fun easy going brother with a dash of his own wickedness, but he hadn't ever gotten to play his game. The game he so dearly loved, the promise, the un-loyalty, and the punishment. It was all missing. A sigh escaped his jaws, the exhaust from his lungs creating a cloud around his muzzle. His eyes closed, I really need to make some relationships, or fix the ones that seem to be failing. Irrationality, one of Teren's Betas, he had seemed like a good brute, no need to keep an eye on him. Reaper and Caspian, he hadn't even spoken to either yet. So that was two. Cliché, the female Lead Healer, a little angel amongst a band of demons, and yet she belonged. She had a fire in her, one that he liked, but she necessarily didn't like him. For different reasons. He had made a mistake with her, and perhaps he should attempt to fix it. But he doubted the stubborn she-wolf would really pay attention. Plus, it might make him seem desperate for her good side. And he wasn't necessarily one to beg. Still, he had a feeling like he should be protecting her now. He didn't trust Teren's rule in the winter, and she did not deserve whatever he could possibly do to her. But he didn't know why. He didn't have any sort of intimate feelings for the vixen, oh no, those were out of the question. But it was rather to perhaps save her from more pain from him? It was odd, and he couldn't understand it, but for the sake of his mind and sanity, he would keep an eye out.

A scent drifted into his nose, no it wasn't her's, that would be weird. It was a Helidos male's, and he seemed to be alone. He slow grin came upon his face, his eyes lighting up with mischief. Well, well, well, what can we do here? Continuing forward, his mouth still formed in that same forbidden grin. His paws came onto a different kind of surface, a softer one, only laced with snow. Sand, a beach. The water was certainly different, it's waves bringing in light blue neon sparks that gave the area a beautiful light. He didn't find it eerie, but rather, relaxing. However, that didn't sway him away from the now in sight black brute. He stood a few feet away from the water, seemingly entranced by it's beauty. He then walked closer, causing the male to roll his eyes. How stupid are the Helidos wolves? First waging war and now they want to swim in winter? He rolled his eyes, his voice coming out boldly against the silence of communication. "You wanna get hypothermia, pup?" The stranger was definitely younger than him, by a long shot. For the male nearing the age of nine, this kid was nothing. Besides, he seemed like a rather submissive type of male to actually be lured in by water. He almost wanted to laugh, but instead acted as if he could care less about the outcome. But he did want to see him perhaps go into the water anyway, his jaws soon to chatter. For now he lay his rump on the cold sand, his left hind reaching up as he slightly twisted his back to scratch behind his ear. His eyes closed in a rather passive expression, even if he was anything but.

The lithe, russet furred she-wolf padded languidly through the winter snow, her flint gray gaze focused and her snout held low to the ground. She had caught the warm, pungent scent of rabbit as she passed by Erenyx's border with the neutral territories, and she was nearly eagerly endowed to track the creature down. Prey was a scarce commodity during the mercilessly frigid season, and the scout wasn't so uselessly arrogant to pass up a meal, no matter how meager it appeared to be. She had been born in the North, where winter dominated the majority of the year and it seemed the entire world froze over for most of it. What's more, her pack had not been enormously accepting of her, and in her abandonment she had been tasked with the responsibility of ensuring both her own and her sister's survival. She understood hardship, and the consequences of loss. Now, let's see where this little runt is hiding...

Her paws crunched nimbly through the soft powder, her light, gangly body allowing her to keep quiet with relative ease. This characteristic was merely one of her advantages towards her profession. She was an expert tracker due to her time as a hunter and the months she'd spent attempting to locate the treacherous leech that was her monstrous brother. She was also notably clever, and she relished in her ability to strategize and outwit her adversaries. Unfortunately, her combat prowess was severely lacking compared to many of her peers, a notion that brought her a great deal of discomfort and frustration. Her wounds were finally beginning to heal, and she supposed she'd be prepared for her next reconnaissance mission soon enough. She supposed experience was as great a teacher as any; she had most certainly learned from the various scars arching over her chest, shoulder and eye. Her appearance betrayed the demeanor of a wolf who understood battle, someone who had glimpsed death on two occasions and survived. Whether her peers saw that as recklessness or courage was beyond her capacity to care. She had a promise to keep, a purpose she had decided to set her life upon, and accomplishing that required copious diligence and practice.

The diminutive creature's scent tapered off as she approached an area oddly devoid of trees or shrubbery, and though she was largely compelled to continue following the poignant scent, her attention was abruptly captured by a vociferous cacophony unlike anything she had ever heard before. It was a kind of fluid crashing, not unlike the torrential current of a fast paced river, and she narrowed her eyes slightly at the noise before decidedly padding towards it, her disposition both cautious and curious. The hardened, often obnoxiously sarcastic fae was somewhat awed when she reached the source of the ruckus, in spite of her naturally surly demeanor. A vast expanse of water stretched out before her, black as the night sky and almost indistinguishable from the starry firmament where it met the distant horizon. Towering waves crashed sporadically along the shore, the placid remnant of the violent motion climbing and receding along the beach in a slow rhythm. And yet within the undulating darkness millions of luminescent lights glittered and scintillated through the patent chaos, diminutive specs of light that stretched in concentrated patches along the length of the shoreline. The pungent scent of salt hung heavily in the air, and the cool winter breeze was far stronger here with the stark absence of plant barriers.

It was unfathomably odd to the she-wolf, and yet somehow incredibly beautiful at the same time. It was almost as if the sky itself had fallen to Earth, and it's erratic, suffering motion was its hopeless attempt to climb back into heaven. It was a stupid notion, she was well aware, and impossible, but she was still somewhat astonished by how stricken she was by the sight, that she could think it comely. She had not seen anything like that since she had lost her sister, and she was unwillingly reminded of when they were mere yearlings and they had glimpsed the aurora borealis, the Northern lights, for the first time. Usagi had been thoroughly delighted by the unbelievable sight, the multitude of colors swirling through the night. She had questioned her endlessly about what it was, why it happened, and she vaguely recalled being upset that she could not produce an answer. She was experiencing a similar feeling now, the minuscule wonder of glimpsing something new and the intense desire to understand what it was and how it worked. A sudden wave of sadness washed plainly over her, and her awed expression fell into an empty austerity as she stared bitterly out into the lambent abyss. You're the one who deserves to see this, not me.

She pricked her ears in abrupt alertness at the distinctive sound of paw steps, and she smirked slightly in bitter amusement at the night colored pelt of a male who seemed fascinated by the quiet beauty of the torrential water. She could tell by his scent that he was Helidos, though she supposed she could have guessed it by his seemingly foolish demeanor. And yet, her mocking grin subsided slightly as she watched him pad eagerly toward the tumbling water, his expression bright with the wonder of new discovery, and an unwanted pang flashed through her chest like a thorn. He looked exactly like her sister had, whenever she gazed into the unknown; as if everything life had to offer was a glorious thing to behold. Her sarcastic expression returned, however, as she noticed the colossal stature and mottled brown pelt of a wolf she knew. She padded towards them as he addressed the Helidos brute in a noticeably condescending lilt, and she snickered as she approached, her demeanor as casually bold and fearless as ever.

"Come on Lyonitus, give the idiot a break." She stated nonchalantly as she passed close by the elite, her mocking tone lacking the bite that would make her statement hostile. "What, does grumpiness just run in the family?" She flicked her tail snidely towards the male's snout before taking a seat a few feet away, her demeanor lazy in spite of her teasing smirk.

[ I don't mind at all Lyo^^ Thanks for joining!]

Teeku once again had allowed his attention to be held so intently by something he forgot the world around him. The glowing water's enchanting beauty had completely distracted him, forgetting he was in neutral lands where any wolf could wander. Teeku jumped slightly when a voice called over the gentle waves. Head swinging around, Teeku's ears flickered back some as he finds himself near feet away from a large russet brute. His eyes were fixed on Teeku with a gleam, he didn't quite feel comfortable with. Tail held down, he allows it to sweep his hocks showing he wanted no trouble. The brute's words making him chuff slightly. " No, I was merely admiring the water's glow. " He says thankful that he didn't stammer or fumble his words. Before Teeku could get a real good look at the brute, or speak further however a second wolf approached. She strode up beside the brute boldly, her own russet fur nearly brushing the far larger male's. Nose twitching in the cold, Teeku could detect the distinct reek of Erenyx coming off the pair. Even the strong salty ocean air couldn't hide that from him, nothing would. Not after the war, swallowing some Teeku's ears flicker as the female spoke. Her words weren't kind but lacked any hostility that would be a cause for concern. Knowing better than to snap, Teeku eye'd the pair in silence. It was apparent from the fae's relaxed form she felt comfortable in the brute's present. Comfortable enough to tease him. Amber eyes flickering from one to the other, Teeku remained were he stood. He didn't sit in case things got heated, instead he planted his paws in the cold sand. Though at the moment these Erenyx memebers seemed content to laze about where they were, he was ready to take off at the first sign of hostility. Two on one was never a fair fight, and not one worth fighting in neutral territories. Shoving his misgivings about the situation at hand down, Teeku waited to see what the pair would do. Hoping perhaps they'd find conversation amongst themselves and forget about him. Though deep down he knew that wouldn't happen. Erenyx and Helidos had just had a war not so long ago. There was still bitter rivalry and feelings over what had occurred that night. Wondering if either of these wolves had murdered one of his fellow packmates, Teeku clamped his jaw shut tighter. Running his mouth now would be a mighty foolish idea.

Loveless And Watch Me Bleed,

The only hope that the Elite had for the understanding of his words was that the Helidos wolf didn't take it as he cared. He didn't. Perhaps he shouldn't have said anything, perhaps he should've just let him go into the water. He might have gotten the deal he was so desperately trying to find. To have the other brute owe him a favor. Why didn't I think of that earlier, dammit. It didn't matter now, he supposed. What's done is done and he had drawn attention to himself. His warning giving the brute a reason to now not go in the water. But there were always other ways to get what he wanted, blackmail could be one. But that was only occasionally fun, and he'd rather have some action in it than just to threaten and gain. The "itch" he had behind his ear was gone now, his body moving to sit normally as the other replied. Just admiration, eh? He could believe it, the place was something to look at, but still. Stupid to wander closer to the grip of the cold. He shrugged, making no other moves before another joined their party. Her voice drifting into his ears with a sense of mockery and amusement. 'Come on Lyonitus, give the idiot a break,' a feminine voice said, her scent drifting deeper into his nostrils. He had smelt her earlier, her presence not shocking him in the least. All he did was snort, his eyes tracing her movements. She spoke once more, speaking of his grumpiness. Her tail then moving to gently hit his snout, giving him a teasing sneak peak of her heat. He wasn't going to act on it, or not that far anyway. But he could still take advantage of it.

He breathed it in, a low growl forming at the base of his throat. It wasn't threatening, none in the least. More of an amused and perhaps primal one. A smirk took over his mouth. It was always more threatening the closer two wolves seemed that were on the same side. Especially versus one. The she-wolf, whom he had heard was named Yuki, was Erenyx's scout. Quick on her feet and excellent at tracking. Lyonitus was the Eilte male, his size and strength earning him the spot despite his age. And the fact that Teren was his brother, but that didn't matter. If he decided to run, well, that would be quite the fun game. His eyes traced and followed her body, or more specifically her rear. He may be old, but he still had the charms he could use, though that wasn't his goal. He noticed how silent the black male had been, not moving or uttering a single word. Raising to his feet he followed her movements. Moving behind her and wrapping his body around her back. "No, it rather comes with older age. I'm sure you'll see once you get there." He pushed his nose into her fur, making it appear like he was taking in her scent, but rather using it to hide the movements of his mouth. "Let's play a game with him, shall we?" He murmured. "I'm getting quite bored and this could end fairly well. The closer we appear, the more threatening we are to him. I could see it, he's nervous. I am sure you can too. Besides we have a reputation to keep for being the bad wolves around here, don't we?" He moved his head away, his bi-colored orbs staring at the black wolf now. His body however didn't move yet, not unless she did they would remain with their proximity. Not that he minded the feeling of her body pressed against his. "What's your name, boy?" Even if she were to deny his plan, he would make it appear as if nothing was planned. He sure hoped that he could get a kick out of terrifying the brute. Or that no one would intervene. And perhaps, if she so wished, they can spill a little blood too.

PostSubject: Re: Admiring the View [Open!] Admiring the View [Open!] Icon_minitimeJanuary 24th 2016, 21:18

The she-wolf's bemused grin deepened slightly at the male's friendly chuckle, her seemingly mocking expression tinged with a sorrowful spite. Her sister would have responded similarly, humble and honest of her awe. He did appear to be fairly on edge at their presence however, and she couldn't say she blamed him. They may have been residing in undisputed land, but when one was confronted with two members of an adversarial pack who he had just faced in a frivolous war, peace was not essentially guaranteed.

She was, in spite of her mocking disposition, quietly shocked and fairly uncomfortable when her older pack mate suddenly wrapped his body around her back, her disposition abruptly austere and defensive. She hadn't once suspected her sarcasm would be taken as flirting; she was not comely nor charming, she'd be the first to admit that, and her teasing was always a tactic used to throw others off kilter. Did this archaic moron seriously think I would make an actual advance?! The unwanted sensation of his breath against her fur made her stomach clench with dreadful alarm, and her first instinct was to turn around and rake the behemoth across the face before sprinting as quickly as she could away. The impulse dissipated, however, as she caught his next slew of words, and she relaxed somewhat as she realized that whatever his behavior belied was not his intention nor in his interest. She had to keep herself from heaving a sigh of relief from her concealed panic; that was probably the last thing she wanted to do, ever.

She glanced back at him out of the corner of her eye, her flint gray gaze sharp and analytical in spite of her nonchalant expression. His reaction to her disrespectful mockery was certainly unexpected, especially for a higher up. Most of the members of the higher caste who she had addressed so loosely usually responded with immediate offense, if not some kind of extraordinarily petty rage. He was indifferent to her informality, however, and his tone reflected an interest of the psychological kind. She didn't know him that well, but from what she could tell thus far he seemed fairly different from either of the siblings she'd met. She wasn't extraordinarily keen on playing... Whatever the hell this was, nor with toying with an innocent wolf, but he was the monster's brother, an elite, and though she saw very little value in titles, many other wolves respected them. If she made an ally out of him, she would be that much closer to sending the worthless slug Teren down to hell where he belonged. She'd be working towards her goal.

After a short moment of thought a determined smile hidden under the guise of coyness twitched at her maw, and she addressed him just as lowly, her relaxed demeanor and easy expression hiding her stolid intent. "So long as the Helidos flea is not harmed, we have a deal." She had very little experience in the department of attraction, primarily due to the fact that she had scarcely ever felt it and the thought of any male being blind enough to fall for her made her want to chortle out loud. Prevarication, trickery, and strategy, however, were her most viable talents, and she ran the length of her back under his chin as she stood, her expression easy and casual in spite of the diminutive pangs of discomfort cringing in her gut. I'm diving in the river after this...

She watched the quiet male as Lyonitus asked his name, and she walked in a wide, slow circle around the dark furred brute, her observant gaze divided evenly between him and her pack mate. She paused as she bent to examine his hind leg, a smirk stretched across her features as she spoke. "The scars around your leg look pretty bad. I'm going to take a wild guess and say you were involved in the war?" She straightened back up then, her tone casual and seemingly indifferent as she displayed the heinous scarring around her chest and shoulder. "I think it was, what, your delta, who did this? Pretty brutal for a fight, though, if I recall correctly, he did end up in my jaws for a good portion of it." She sneered haphazardly at him before scratching indifferently at a vacant itch behind her ear, as if the topic was of very little value to her. "Are your pack mates still limping around from that?" The angle of arrogant intimidation was a fairly easy one to play, and usually would have relished in her ability to throw others off, but she could not ignore the nervous innocence of his demeanor. She couldn't help but wonder if he would have been friendly, like Lark and Rose had been, if she had not been hostile first. It was a question she asked herself often as of late; her sarcastic teasing was a mechanism she used to drive others away, and it was wonderfully efficient, for reasons both beneficial and solemn. She felt guilty of their hidden threatening of him, but she forced away her empathy, and ignored his former semblance to her sister. She was doing this to keep her promise, and as long as he was not lethally hurt, the ends would justify the means.

Teeku shifted his paws some, his amber eyes flickering over the pair before him. He didn't like the way the brute whom the fae had addressed as Lyonitus, looked at him or her. His eyes were hungry, like a starving animal that had just found a carcass to rip into. It made Teeku's hackles rise involuntarily along his spine. His chest felt tight with nervous energy as he watched the pair. Taking a soft breath he attempted to hide his unease. The attempt however got harder as the large brute moved in upon the fae. He pressed up against her and not in a loving manner. It was more of a sickeningly perverse way, that same hungry look plastered on his bi-colored orbs. Despite having no connection with this fae, Teeku felt the urge to intervene. He wanted to shove the brute away, protect the smaller fae from his hideous clutches. This urge was only heightened when he saw the she-wolf stiffen at the brute's embrace. She's one of them, he reminded himself clenching and unclenching his jaws.

Allowing the urge to fall away, Teeku continues to watch the pair. After what felt like an eternity of stiff silence, the crash of waves covering up the conversation between the pair, the brute called out to him. Knowing he had no chance of slipping into the background now, Teeku parted his jaws to speak. " Warrior Teeku..." He spits out his mouth feeling dry as he spoke. His eyes flickering from the brute to the fae. He couldn't help but notice a grin that was now plastered upon the fae's face. As if something had changed between the time Lyonitus pressed against her to now. Feeling more uneasy than before, Teeku snapped his attention to the smaller fae as she approached him. It took everything he had to stay rooted to the spot, his amber eyes flashing in the moonlight. Her disgustingly playful voice filling his ears. Her mocking tone grating on his nerves as she stopped circling him long enough to examine his scar. It looked ghastly in the moonlight, sticking out blatantly against his black fur. Feeling it was unnecessary to speak, and not sure he could, Teeku merely nodded to confirm her words. His amber eyes flickering down when she displayed her own scars for him to see. His eyes hovered momentarily before he raised them back to her face as she spoke. Her words designed to taunt him he knew. " I'll be sure to tell Delta Sitka your disappointed with the outcome. I'm sure he'd be willing to change that for you... " The second the words spilled from his maw, Teeku regretted them. He'd given in to her taunt, given these Erenyx what they wanted. Gritting his teeth once more he watched as she casually scratched at her ear. Her next words only fueling the anger building in his chest. He felt trapped, annoyed, on edge. All he could do was stand there and take the words, but he'd never been good at remaining cool. Reckless his father had called him. Sure he'd matured since then, but he could only take so much. Tread carefully, a voice in the back of his mind warned. But the scout's last words made him want to growl. " Mine aren't." He says his tone low and edgy. " Why are yours?" He asks cocking his head sideways, trying to sound as indifferent as she was.

Fel had heard of this new territory being discovered, where the stars were captured in the sea and floated towards the shore. She did not believe of such nonsense like that description but intended to investigate this glowing phenomenon and perhaps even bring a few samples back to their healers for experimentation or analysis. There was no expectation for her to get in the water or linger for any longer than necessary, and her jaws already held a leaf saved for packaging and shipping. With wide, calculated strides, the fae made her way to the beach, following the increasingly strong scent of salt water.

And when she finally did break through the woods and enter the plain of cold sand and deadly waves, Fel saw that the rumours were not entirely false. There were indeed glowing orbs floating and crashing against the shore with the water. But they were hardly stars. In truth, they looked like the rears of overgrown fireflies, except lifeless and colder. For the latter, she appreciated them all the more. Yet with a gust of wind, she caught the scent and voices of some other wolves – both Helidos and Erenyx. An encounter such as this could prove more interesting than simply getting what she came for and leaving. Besides, the pain from her previous encounter with feline scum had since left her, so she did not sense any increased danger. If the wind blew against the grain of her hide, a bystander might see the patchwork of scars that decorated her skin throughout the years.

Setting off towards the group, Fel held her abnormally long tail at a neutral height, snaking behind her in tempo with her stride. Her thick mountain fur swished at an equal cadence over her bulky frame as it moved fluidly, tensing and relaxing rhythmically in preparation. Upon approaching them, she found that the Helidos lad was outnumbered. Although being a pariah from both packs, it would only be fair to level the playing field a little. Surely, the black brute could take that tawny fae if he needed to.

Fel came in from their sides, coming to a halt not in the middle of the two packs but still between them, and far enough from the edge of the moving water. The factions were discussing their former skirmish amongst them, of which Fel had heard of by now. Rumours spread fast, and she was omnipresent in Agavos. It was common knowledge by now, and therefore disappointing… small details like scars didn’t matter as much as the already known outcome. The brutish wolf kept an ear pointed at both parties, but kept her almost bored gaze on the Erenyx one. They were the most likely to be aggressive, which is partly what she wanted. The brute was as large as Teren and herself, and despite having a different color, she could still fantasize tearing his throat out and watching his eyes suddenly go wide and then dull. However, if violence was not necessary, there was no true need for it…

Was there? Maybe, maybe not. What Fel knew for certain, however, was that there was no need for kindness to any of them. With a bit of a chuckle, she opened her maw and let her voice spill out like gravel, but tinged with sarcasm, “Young brute of Helidos… How does the great Quinn fare? Has she begun to rot, or is her body too pure and holy for such equalizing rituals of the earth?” Her attention and gaze turned again to her most recent ex-packmates, though she did not personally know them. “And what of mighty Teren? Has his ego yet inflated him to the point of bursting? I can only explain why this has not yet occurred by his cavities replacing the mind, morals, and soul. But when you think he is ripe with that toxic gas, send a call. I imagine it will be much like a dead whale.” The old she-wolf smirked in amusement at the imagery. She would have liked to see that indeed. She turned her shoulders slightly more to face the slowly approaching two, smiling in a manner that seemed unnerving on her apathetic face. Her eyes flickered between the two in calculation, settling solely on the brute for a moment. Casually, she picked up again, “Seeing a brute and a fae close together is so… repugnant. But I can’t imagine the little thing having any attraction towards your old ass though, so I presume you’re doing so for strength in numbers. But really… Has Erenyx become so weak that you can’t handle a Helidos pup alone?” Although the Helidos brute, now partly behind her, was of decent size and nervous, she was fairly certain he wouldn’t want to attack her, so she could focus mostly on the other two for their response. An ear closely monitoring his movements on the sand still faced him, though. There were idiots in every pack.

L y o n i t u s . . .
Apologies for the wait, loves
Oh, come on! Really!?
Some people just ruined everything he had planned. Plus, she was probably disgusted with him now. His actions weren't necessaril appropriate for an elite to bestow upon a lower ranked she-wolf who was not his own. He wondered what Teren would think or do if he found out. Probably give hima good yelling and a few wounds, or a shoulder bump with a wicked smile in congratulations. Either one, each had a fifty-percent chance of happening. Though, he held no attraction to this one here. Beautiful as she might be, small compared to he, he held no allure for her. Nor did he want any. He was old anyway, it wouldn't be logical for her to hold lust for him. Unless she liked elder men...? Nah. He let out a quiet groan of disappointment, almost childlike and immature in the action. "Damn, and here I thought we could spend time getting to know each other while we terrorize the poor nitwit. By the way, I'm not using this plan to my own personal benefit. You're pretty, but not my type. So you can drop the act if you wish, because, after all, my fun has been ruined."

Not moving he would allow her to break their closeness. But, he wouldn't try and get closer to her again. Not when she was on the side of harmless teasing. Where is the fun in that, exactly? Nowhere. That's where. And by the look in her eyes when she stood then, making a show of their pretend relationship, she was disgusted. Well, at least I have that. She than began to move closer towards him, circling him as she assessed him. Teeku, eh? You sound like some Momma's boy who never grew up. But wait, isn't that all Helidos wolves? Hm, doesn't really matter I suppose. Instead of voicing his thoughts, he just grinned. Settling for a simple chuckle. He let the Scout take over from here, teasing him about his wounded leg. Flicking his tongue off the roof of his mouth thrice, he gently shook his head. Her words had fire, but she left space open for returning shots of poison words. He however, said nothing. Waiting for the moment where his input was needed. Which didn't seem like it was now. And then something else happened.

A.. female? walked between where he stood and the Helidos wolf. She didn't smell like either of the quarreling packs. Perhaps Agavos. Nevertheless, she was yet another wolf who was interrupting his fun. Arse-holes. What is wrong with people these days? However, he said nothing. His eyes narrowing as he took in her rather amused expression. She hates both of our groups. Perfect. And then her jaws opened, voice laced soaked with sarcasm. He could only smirk as her words fired insult after insult. Even if some were directed at his own pack. Now she was entertaining. But she was also dangerous, which made the scene now again fouled. The fae from his home wouldn't harm the twit. The twit was outnumbered, unless this newbie decided to help him. And the newbie was a girl who looked like a dude. And he had to feel sorry for the brute who tried to force her into spending a few hours mounted in an intimate exchange of pleasure. Because, they would not make it out without both their pride and body ruined. And then her attacks landed on him. Stating of his "old-ass" and how unattractive he was. It didn't hurt him really, he almost laughed. But instead settled for a nod and a rhythmic thumping of his tail, much like an applause.

"Bravo, stranger. You managed to point out the obvious. I hold no attraction for her, nor does she for me. It was strictly an act. You see, I'm bored. I can't do shit here, and yet I can't leave quite yet either. So, I thought to have a little fun with Twinkie over there and she showed up. And to try and make things work, I offered a proposition. In which she declined by going against my original wishes. And at the end of our closeness, I ended our show. However, to take on a brat like him? No, we can do that alone. I must say though, you are a fiery thing. Scout, you should learn from her if you want to spit insults at another. I'm serious, she's plenty good at it. But one can only become that good with knowledge. Which would mean that you are indecisive and can't stick to one place or thing at a time. Much like a whore, or perhaps you are one? Work for all three packs you've been in, or just the one now?

And then, he slid to his paws. Crossing the right over his left as he grinned crookedly. Slowly he lowered his head, his right eye closing for a few moments as he spoke. Would be a good business for you. Some guys like to say 'If it isn't rough it isn't fun.' And you, my dear, would give them quite a hard time."

The lithe she-wolf cackled aloud at the little warrior's response, patently aware of the tense demeanor he was trying so hard to conceal. "Trust me kid, I'd love another chance to put that lumbering dolt in the ground." She sneered with blatant mockery before turning away from him, glancing back in aloof bemusement at his final attempt at a retort. "Are we limping? Hmmm, why is it that I don't recall my pack being the ones who lost their alpha and both of their betas?" She regretted the comment not a moment after it dripped from her maw, but her sly snicker of teasing and mockery easily concealed any misgivings. There was no cause for the statement, but the defense was almost instinctive. She was well adjusted to spouting the most hurtful thing she could think of; it was primarily how she protected herself and her sister when they were younger. She smirked with exaggeratedly false sweetness at the dark hued male before turning away completely, her head raised in spite of the stab of guilt that punctered her chest. What, are you going soft? None of it matters if you don't keep your promise. You want to avenge your sister, right? The notion was enough to stamp out the slim remainder of her empathy for him, and she smirked snidely at how he'd been reacting thus far, apparently barely able to contain his animosity.

The appearance of the she-wolf she gradually recognized as Fel was unexpected, but her disposition remained aloof and nonchalant, completely unfazed by her amalgamated slew of random insults. She had not known the Fae extraordinarily well before she defected to the rogue's pack, though she couldn't at all claim she was surprised by her surly demeanor. She actually guffawed with unbridled amusement at her comment on Teren, her demeanor bold and indifferent to any potential consequences. "As enjoyable a thought that is, I don't really think bottomless voids are capable of filling up. It's almost just as likely he'd kill himself falling off a cliff he couldn't see through his narrow focus, or just walked off of because he expected gravity to bend to his gallant command." She couldn't care less who heard her; she wasn't really one who was shy to speak her mind.

She quirked a single eyebrow in casual indifference as Lyonitus admitted to the act; if he didn't feel like playing unless there was mindless sadism involved, she didn't care to tag along. Her snide smirk deepened slightly at his comment on her apparently lacking ability in the department of pissing others off, and she shifted her narrowed gray gaze towards Fel at his following comments, greatly resisting the urge to roll her eyes into the back of her head. "Oh, Lyo, are you really one to talk?" She commented dryly as she gazed nonchalantly out at the shore, her sarcastic voice carrying a tone seemingly akin to apathy. "I mean, your brother got, what, three females pregnant this season, one of whom did not consent to the act? And haven't your other siblings engaged in similar behavior with frequency? If you want to talk about whores, your family is full of them."
[Wow I have never written for a character this mean :') apologies for her sass]
