War. It was still fresh in his mind. He stood on top of one of the mountains in Erenyx. His pelt was worn and fluffy for the snow that battered against him. Strong winds pushed at him from different angles and made him cold right down to his skin. He perked his ears and sighed, he should find Naomi and congratulate her on killing the Beta of Helidos. He let his emotionless face form into a wince as he thought about the war. He shrugged and made his way off the mountain. He reached the bottom after a bit, his massive body swaying as he rocked forward with slow speed. He was in no rush. As he made his way to the pack clearing, his emerald eyes lit up at the sound of a familiar howl. Oh? He echoed silently, thinking of the possibilities it could be. Maybe she is challenging Ariste or Braelyn for rank. He let his eyes dance with that thought, seeing the others suffer and his love gain rank. He entered the clearing to hear her voice echo. He perked his ears and laughed, actually laughed. His voice rumbled loudly as he spoke. "My dear, that is a challenge I will not take." He made it sound sarcastic. He then roamed forward and leaned in just so she would be able to hear him. "For I could not hurt the one I love." He purred out gently and nuzzled her cheek, hoping to gain some affection back. Unless, she was serious. It nagged at the back of his mind, but he brushed it off. He looked down at her slightly, emerald eyes searching her face as he wove around her. He flicked his tail at her and then rested his massive head against her shoulder. He would lick her cheek and keep nuzzling her, for he did not care whom saw them. He was in love, and that was that. His vicious heart melted at just the sight of her, his mind clumsily stumbled for the right words as she took his breath away with every step, every word. She was his everything, and he cared not if anyone thought he was a wimp for it.
