Narla wasted no time in moving to ask the Alpha his permission to be mated to Fel. She slept soundly that night, knowing that the love of her life loved her in return and the following morning she rose early, hoping to catch the Alpha in a good mood, before anything could upset his day. Fel had explained to Narla that in wolf packs it was important for the budding couple to seek the permission of their Alpha to be mated and have pups - which obviously was not quite the circumstance here. It was important that their union be witnessed by the pack and accepted by all so that any who sought to separate the loving couple were aware that either wolf was spoken for and sever punishment would follow such an attempt. Already she was formulating a fun little plan to make their mating ceremony a little more memorable, but she would have to discuss it with the Alpha first. She trotted gayly into the clearing, tail swishing high in the air and a silly grin upon her face. She could not possibly be any happier and she was confident that Desmond would accept her request - he was fond of his Beta after all. She slowed as she approached his den, calling softly in hopes of gaining his attention without irritating the brute. "Alpha Desmond? It's Narla, your Lead Warrior. I have something I might ask of you, if you could spare a moment of your time," She asked politely, her Australian accent prevalent as ever, although she was rather proud of it now.

I never expected to find myself here, but now that I am... I can't see myself being anywhere else.
Before the early morning sun was able to awaken the sleeping Alpha, he dreamed deeply. His dreams were of wolves that once lived in his pack. Wolves that were once close to him. Desmond rolled onto his left side, and kicked his feet as he imagined running with Esmé or hunting with Seiglinde. The Alpha kept his eyes closed as he slept soundly. But a voice woke him from his slumber. One eye opened and soon the other followed suit. He lifted his head from the ground and groggily listened to the words that entered his den. The voice was familiar and sweet, but so soft. He tried to think of who it was, though so many faes had the same close sound. Oh well, might as well see what it was the female needed. His tired body didn't hear the rest of what she had said, only his name. He stood up on all fours and shook his coat out. It was a waking up process that he did daily. When he finally exited the den, he took a seat right at the entrance, with his back to the den. He looked down to Narla with a smile. Oh so that was who it was. "Narla, what can I assist you with today?"
