Nnlya is a young female grey wolf nearing her second mating season. She has a dark charcoal pelt that fades through browns and into an almost pure white on her belly. She is on the tall end of the average height spectrum, especially for a female, although not particularly heavyset. She takes pride in her appearance and always keeps her fur clean. Her eyes are a striking blue which captivate other wolves. She has no visible marks or scars. The she-wolf is lean and muscular, relying more on speed than strength in combat.

History:
Nnlya was born to an Alpha-pair three years ago with three other siblings. Nnlya was the second born of the four, situatd between the other three male pups. Nnlya's father especially took her as his favourite and his heir, training her each day in skills such as hunting, tracking and fighting so that she could become an Alphess some day.

Around the time of her first year, during a routine relocation, Nnlya became separated from her family. The pack was moving den sites when there was an avalanche. They were most of the was through the mountain pass when it got close. Nnlya and one of her brothers had been playing at the time. Onyx was her favourite of the three boys. He was the oldest and always treated her kindly. As the avalanche tumbled down the mountain, her father pulled everyone into a hidden cave in the side. Onyx and Nnlya were too far away. He spotted another cave closer to both himself and his siter. They bolted but only she made it in before the wall of white hit. Onyx was killed, swept away in the tide. Nnlya was lucky, her cave was actually a tunnel that lead underneath the mountain and out the far side, into another packs territory. With the way behind her blocked there was no getting through. She travelled to neutral territory and had been a loner ever since. She often thought of going back, but by the time the snow was melted, she was old enough to be a dispersal wolf anyway.

At such a young age, it seemed almost certain she would die. Nnlya came to remember the skills her father had taught her and used them to help her survive. She fought every battle that came her way as she progressed through her difficult first year. She taught herself new ways to hunt and fight without the support of a pack, travelling as a loner along the borders of other packs territories. Most times when she had accidentally toed the line of a packs borders, the subordinates were quite forgiving and allowed her on her way. There were only a few occasions where she had had to fight. She had fought warriors mostly, but had even managed to dominate an Elite.

He was brutal and ruthless, displaying scars the like that would scare any pup. The Elite had tried to mate with her against her will. She knew her limits and was not completely confident that she would prevail in a fight against him, but submission did not seem an option. When she rejected his advances he became violent. To submit was to die in her case, so she fought. Nnlya fought viciously, fending off the brute's sharpened claws and powerful jaws. She had only received a few superficial scratches and a good nick on her hindquarters, but none of them had permanently scarred. The real scarring was internal, mental. knowing she had been sullied and no male would want damaged goods. Regardless, she was always successful at victory or draw on these occasions, only receiving minor wounds that left no permanent physical scars or blemishes.

A few months into her second year Nnlya felt the need for companionship and set off in the direction of a border in which she had not previously travelled. She hoped to perhaps join a pack there and even find her mate. At the end of autumn, before her third birthday, she found the lands of Helidos, and never looked back.

Faster. Faster. She had to outrun this hare. Nnlya hadn't eaten in weeks and was desperately hungry. Through her fatigue and hunger, she pushed on. Her large paws kicking up puffs of blinding white snow as she gave chase. The rather large ahre in front of her was slowly tiring, bleeding out from where she had managed to nip its ankles. She shook out her shoulders as she ran, preparing for the kill. One final leap onto the creatures back, puncturing its neck with her powerful jaws and it was all over. The hare slumped in her teeth and gave up its struggles. Nnlya crouched in the snow and began to tuck in to her heard earned meal. Her ears constantly swivelling and turning for even the slightest hint of a scavenger... or worse. Wolf packs were known to patrol this area. Normally, Nnlya would not dare risk being caught on another's territory without permission, but starvation and low food in her usual grounds drove her to desperate measures. A rustling in the bushes. Nnlya growled lowly to warn off any challengers. She wasn't to be trifled with.

Thudding footfalls and crunching snow, the swish of tails and the intake of breath. A pack was approaching. They were trying to scent her. But the wind was in her favour, she caught their scent first. This was it. She had been planning to join a pack and now was the perfect opportunity.

There are really only two things I'd like to point out. The first is, depending on her precise age, a pup is unlikely survive in that circumstance. Without hunting skills, it would be difficult to hunt and the pup would likely be eaten by a predator. Nearing her first year would be more believable, having some skills to fall back on, and is the youngest we'd permit. Continuing on that, if you could make her history a bit longer, more detailed, that would be lovely. If you need some suggestions on what to write about, let me know.

Second thing is, though it is just your example post, know that it would be extremely difficult for one wolf to take down a bull elk. Especially one that was not properly trained by its parents. So though that is okay for the example section, please refrain from this in character.
