Seeing as it were that the leader would be watching she turned to cliche with a cocky grin but then it fell as she noticed the other leaving. "Well...there goes that." She grumbled feeling her good mood being soiled as well. With a hefty sigh she turn to watch the warriors spar instead with her narrowed eyes. Maybe in the end they would need her help and since there were two strong and able males they could get any injured back. She flicked her gaze every so often in wondering towards the dark furred alpha, what could be going through his head and if he were to approve of the fighting techniques. Ears perked she felt something distant in her mind tingle. Oh yes, she remembered at the healers den when after she had tended to kat and steele had arrived. He had said something along the lines of training his beta. At least she thought she heard something like that, maybe so or maybe not. Maybe a lesson from the alpha could make some of these warriors not take her for granted, not to scoff at her but so they be. She grunted before refocusing on the other two females. Eh she wouldn't bother him and she doubted he'd waste time with her.

Of what Steele would ultimately think of his gathering, Tye had no inkling. As an Omega, it was a risky move but he had explained his reasons and hopefully, it would suffice. And if not, then he would receive his punishment as due. It wasn’t in his nature to stand idly by and do nothing if he had a healthy, working body to put to use. Spending countless days moping about uselessly in regards to his predicament was not an option. It did nothing productive. Doing what he could to better his skills and help those that he could in order for them to better serve the pack as well as hunting for food on the other hand was and all that mattered was that the pack remained strong, both individually and as a group. When Cassiopeia stepped forwards Tye looked at her with a blank expression. The surprise he felt flashed by like quicksilver through his veins, hidden from everyone. He had not expected that at all. It was a noble gesture, one he appreciated but did not entirely welcome. Though he wondered what possessed her to bear some brunt of the responsibility. In doing so she seemed less dangerous, less unhinged but he would hold his judgement about that until the sparring had finished. With a short curt nod to the Alpha he crossed back to the others, watching Cliché leave before looking at Aziza. Disappointment, though he did not show it, passed through him. Though he knew she had been taught how to fight a little he thought it would’ve benefitted her to practice but he knew she enjoyed healing more just as he enjoyed fighting more than healing even though he had learned some basic skills in his old pack. Each to one’s own. Perhaps such things bored her. On the outside his expression was a mask, impeccable and immaculate. Their merry band of five had dissolved to four. He said to Aziza, “Since you don’t have a sparring partner you have the choice of watching or you can join in the fun. Coming here would have been pointless for you otherwise.”

Gaze straying to two warriors, he surveyed them with emotionless ice blue eyes. He was not a mentor and he was here to learn, just like the others. As far as he was concerned, they were expendable as they were all warriors. He had a warrior’s heart though he was now an Omega. Having seen Cassiopeia sizing Silacea up before, getting ready he knew she had been calculating her move, a possible attack and a counter-attack from the way she had positioned her hind legs. Silacea was getting into position and from her idle movement of her head she was already pinning down potential weak points. It was a ruse of un-interest, a tactic in its own right but he would not think it would fool an experienced fighter. In a fight one’s guard must be up at all times. He did not say any of this, for it would break concentration and both seemed to be keeping to that oath. He noted her claws scraping the earth, the tension in her muscles as she engaged with Cassiopeia, issuing a silent challenge in her words. Bloodlust was in the air. Tye’s eyes darted back to Cassiopeia.“Go on, before we all die from the heat,” He said.

Finding herself back in the fight, her utterance to Steele unadressed, she resumed her stance. Joking with Tye she sweetened her voice and replied: "Not all of us absorb heat like you," Watching Silacea closely she saw assessment in her eyes and knew what she saw. As a gawky pup, long legged and full of spunk, before the demon staked his claim, her trainer had advised her on this point. Sapphire, named for his deep blue eyes, pointed out her flaws all the time, it was common of a trainer, but one day he did something different. Sitting in their normal clearing, Cassiopeia licking her wounds from their last fight, he closed his eyes and told her to do so as well. Interupting the silence which had ensued he told her to picture herself. Next, he told the young fae to look at herself and see her obvious strengths, one an opponent would see when sizing her up. He did this with her weaknesses as well, alone in the dark she pictured a cream fae with dark eyes and a small stature. She pictured the imaginary foe's thoughts on her, small size and little force. Her trainer had emphasized the importance of her own weaknesses, know them at all times. But he also told her of her strengths and the importance to know those as well. It wasn't as simple as just memorizing which attacks worked for her, but also realizing why.

So she knew Silacea's thoughts hidden behind her bored eyes, not specifically, but the basics. Knowing what Silacea knew helped her to guess her attack, even if she didn't know exactly how she thought. Her legs situated just so, she sunk to the ground, lowering her already small target. Pushing off from her back legs she vaulted to Silacea's left, knowing she would land before Silacea could attack. The odd move was to see how quick Silacea was on her feet, it wasn't as much an attack as it was a test. A test of speed as well as if Silacea was in her mind as much as she was in Silacea's.

Her moves would be purposely weird and constantly changing so that Silacea would have a difficult time guessing what was next. It was a ploy she had to use with Sapphire, him being the one which she had learned all of her moves. Eventually she just jumbled everything up into a speedy, whatever works attack. Luckily Silacea did not know her as well as Sapphire, she wouldn't need to be as manic as she had had to be with him.

OOC:
Due to Silacea's current absence [check her post in the Notices Between Members board] and her important role in this post, we will postpone this thread until Silacea is better. This post is not abandoned, nor forgotten, merely to be resumed at a later date.
Thank you,

Silacea allowed her glance at the fae to lace itself with curiosity. Her muzzle allowed itself to become higher, and she quickly stiffened her form apon noticing that Cassiopeia was intending to launch herself. As the fae hurled herself, Silacea dropped and rolled under the fae, attempting to nip at her back paw, just as a test to get a feel for her pain tolerance. Yet she couldn't tell if she had connected this first blow.

It was time for her to prepare, as she always did during battle. It was her time to prepare to push all of her pain into the deepest fathoms of her mind. She took a deep breath and shook herself lightly. Rolling up from her grounded position, she exhaled, fully prepared. No pain could hinder her now.

It was now her turn to launch an attack, and she plotted carefully. She sprinted at the fae, facing her head on, then she tossed herself to the side, making it seem as a faulter. But it was anything but. From the moment the red fae's chest was to the ground, she sprung up directly at her opponent, attempting to catch her by her side, but she couldn't tell if the blow connected, as she aimed a few more shots at the cream fae's tail.

There was a twitch of his ear, the one where he his brother had almost torn off and the scar at the base was his only reminder. Then a discrete flash of something resembling emotion flashing past in those fathomless eyes. His expression turned wry before smoothing out again when the fight started. Those were the only responses Tye gave to Cassiopeia's words, all almost unnoticeable if one wasn't looking closely enough. As the fight progressed, his countenance stayed the same though he did want to see if Cassiopeia's bite proved as bad as her bark. It wasn't exactly rare but it wasn't common to see a warrior who was both articulate in word-play and had fighting prowess in equal amounts. Perhaps Cassiopeia was one of those but as the fight progressed it appeared that that wasn't the case. Silacea seemed sharper, more willing to attack while Cassiopeia was less brave though he noted that she had left herself wide open with her first move, exposing her stomach to Silacea and leaving her vulnerable. A faster fighter would have had taken her down instantly so neither of them won there. Their styles differed drastically too which he supposed was good in the way of developing their reflexes, Silacea's in particular. They had both played bluffs but neither had been successful. Tye took one step, then two and ease into a headlong sprint towards Cassiopeia. He slammed into her side, forelegs locking around her shoulders and claws digging into her skin. His jaws clamped around her like a vice. The force pushed them all the way into the stream, water spraying through the air in fountains. She would not fall as he had a firm grasp on her and though his jaws were around her, his fangs had not penetrated flesh but one move and they would. He had wanted to make her more alert. The fear, if she was feeling it, was an unfortunate side effect but necessary. Tye let go immediately, knowing that if she moved out of instinct his fangs would sever her veins.

"Being unpredictable in a fight is a good tactic but it won't fool an experienced warrior. This is a spar so you have to make a hit not bluff. You can use the bluffing tactic on a less experienced fighter." He said to her in a low undertone. Raising his voice so that Silacea could hear him he said, "Silacea if you want to attack the tail, bite it and pull it so that your opponent is knocked off balance or stunned. Then you could have used that to time to deal a decisive shot. Don't be gentle."

occ: Bloody computer ate my post two times. Sorry if this post isn't as good.

Silacea's moves were more of a barrage of attacks then a single landing blow. Cassiopeia was quick in her avoidance, tail lashing around herself in the last possible moment to avoiding Silacea's grabbing mouth. She hadn't dodged a nip to her back foot though and as it touched the ground she winced just the slightest bit. It wasn't so much the pain, that was minimal and easy to endure, but the reminder of what physical pain felt like. It gave her a bit of lust for more, a wish for her foe to feel the same invigorating awareness that pain gave. Cassiopeia had learned to harness physical pain and use it to her advantage, it was merely a battle cry for revenge. Facing off with Silacea, her next attack in progress, a hard bite at the scruff of Silacea's neck. She felt the rush of wind and saw black fur coming at her like a train. She had no time to react, she had obviously been distracted by the spar that was currently in process. Air escaped her lungs like a popped balloon, her paws were lifted from the ground bu the impact. Tye's blitz attack took her by the neck, his jaws clamped around her life pumping arteries of her neck, as well as her windpipe. Surprise was the first thing to flood her but fury was quick to follow, her anger overwhelming the urge to seize up and cease her movement.

Who was this half-wit? Attacking while I was so thoroughly distracted, he deserves no less than hell for this. As Tye let go of her neck, attention drawn by the ridiculous speech that left his mouth, bluffing was the single best way to size up your opponent. Anyway, Cassiopeia had her speed to get her out of any tough situations which bluffing might cause. Still consumed by rage her teeth lash at Tye's muzzle, their was no clamping needed. The scrape was simply teeth against bone, the skin between becoming little less than paper. With a snarl, she escaped Tye's grasp, his heavy weight, shifted only by wild movements of her legs and torso. Her eyes inhabited fire, crimson flames which signaled the closeness of an unleashing of her devil. He had no limits, he wouldn't stop at a mere scrape of the muzzle, he only had death on his mind. Cassiopeia darted a wolf's length away, water soaked her creamy pelt revealing her small form. Her head was low, ready for another attack and her eyes darted from Aziza to Tye and then finally to Silacea. Poison dripped from her voice, no more were her honey tones, she was deadly serious about this engagement. "Not quite the gentleman I thought you were Tye, attacking a lady while she already has a spar partner. I think a bit of blood will balance out your mistake," Wrath colored her voice red, sarcasm and malice linking her words. She would not go down easily, whether it be Tye, Silacea or Tye and Silacea. They most certainly outweighed her as well as evened her in skill, but her light feet and stone cold will was not for the light-hearted. Her demon was quite delighted with this development, the thinning of the ice which divided him from the surface. Nothing thawed those layers of frozen water like white hot wrath and Cassiopeia was rampant with it. She kept it from blinding her, something harder done then thought about, she couldn't go about this spar with eyes filmed over by blood lust. She instead had to be sated by the drop of red easing  down Tye's nose, it was nothing compared to what she could have done in a real fight. But she wasn't even sure if such behavior was allowed in a spar such as this. Prepared for any fight which might come her way, she stood her ground, a wolf's length from each wolf which met her eyes.

[So we are all on the same page with how to stage this spar I suggest we follow these guidelines; HG's Rules. This is simply to make sure we don't overwhelm or god-mod each other. <3]

Silacea got up, fire in her eyes. Closing off her mind, briefly, she annexed the pain that would have filled a normal wolf. Normal she was not. Not bothering to plot her next attack, she blindly ran at Cassiopeia, randomly slamming herself into the left, bolting straight into her side. Gentle I will not be. Her thoughts wrecked like a train as she made contact with Cassiopeia.

She could feel her own wind being knocked from her, and wondered if Cass would do the same. A low growl rose from the caverns of her chest. She was older than both of these wolves. She had been trained for the majority of her life how to fight. She would be damned before she lost to them. Her ears twitched slightly, shaking her head, she got up, not knowing if Cassiopeia would do the same. But, she backed up immediately from her, attempting to avoid the backlash that was clearly immanent.

Highway to Hell [Private] - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Highway to Hell [Private] Highway to Hell [Private] - Page 2 Icon_minitimeMarch 26th 2014, 07:08

Steele had heard all their replies, their comments towards their reasons for being there. The large black wolf pressed his rear to the ground, rolling his tail thickly over his paws while he watched them interact with one another. He did not bother to care who started this little spat or why, but he would be sure to watch it through its entirety. That was the plan. But as he watched two females going after one another, the Alpha became intrigued, only for the training of his wolves could please the tainted beast. His silver hues rolled over their bodies as they clashed with one another, but soon it was cut short. Tye decided to break it up, speaking to them as if they were not allowed to experience what they wished. The whole point of a spar within one's pack is to learn, to know the appropriate things, and to help your fellow wolves better themselves. At this display, Steele grew angry. He stood on all four paws and snapped his jaws, getting the other's attention. "That is enough. All of this is enough." Staring at Tye, he snarled and bared his fangs. "I understand you wish to teach, but when you bully around your weight and height over these females for the purpose of training, it seems like you are just a bully. I do not allow that within the pack. This spar is over. In the future, Tye, if another spar is started between two wolves, allow them to show each other their mistakes. If either of you wish to continue let me know now, but Tye, you will not be allowed to interject or move at all or you will initiate a spar with your Alpha, and that is something you do not want."

[Tye, powerplaying is not allowed. You have to give a possibility for the wolf to fight back to your actions, give a chance for your own character to fail. Cass, thank you for referring to HG's rules for sparing, but rules for this site will be added within the week.]

PostSubject: Re: Highway to Hell [Private] Highway to Hell [Private] - Page 2 Icon_minitimeMarch 26th 2014, 09:05

Blood dripped down the side of his muzzle as Cassiopeia's claws sliced it. Four deep diagonal slashes opened up at his skin. Pleased, Tye would have smiled but his emotions as usual, were buried into the crevasses of his mind. The only thing that would have made it better was that if she had pinned him but this would suffice. He was genuinely concerned for her but it seemed that he hadn't needed to be. The venom dripping from her voice proved what he knew she was capable of. He side-stepped Silacea as she ran at her, glancing at the creamy fae with blue eyes that though still retained their natural coldness, seemed just to have the stirrings of an emotion. Far from finding her words as murderous as he was sure she intended, he was more amused though he didn't outwardly show that either. He said, "I'm sorry next time I'll shout before attacking you. Of course, you can take your revenge on me if you so wish. There, a gentleman's offer. Take it as you will." Tye believed in an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. There was no shame in receiving the same hurts that you put onto another. It was, in the most cosmic of ways, justice. And he would not rage at something that was deserved.
He turned to Steele as he heard him snarl, head and tail sinking deferentially to his Alpha and he said, "My sincerest apologies my Lord. I can only say that I feared for her life. I do not wish to teach but I wished to help." He merely nodded at the rest of his words, showing his acceptance. He had never meant to teach and he was not so arrogant as to do something that was not in his place. And he would have expected nothing less but the same for any pain he dealt. Tye settled back, his expression neutral once more but there was a tiny shred of relief that was worming its way into his heart. Cassiopeia was a worry for him but that worry had been misplaced. He became still once more, turning into an eerily still obsidian statue.

[Noted. And my apologies Cass. As I said above, you're free to do the same to Tye. Maybe towards the end]

PostSubject: Re: Highway to Hell [Private] Highway to Hell [Private] - Page 2 Icon_minitimeMarch 26th 2014, 14:52

Cassiopeia's menacing stance and the poison in her voice was well received on the blue-eyed wolf's end. There was no cowering or recoil, as was not expected from a previous Warrior of the Erenyx pack. Instead he kept his icy nature, impassive as ever, his words the only hint at the humored sarcasm he held within. But as he let his words fly, Cassiopeia emitting a light snarl, Silacea was launching herself at the victimized wolf. She barely had time to throw herself to the side, avoiding the brunt of the impact but still receiving a clip to the shoulder. It wasn't much and Cassiopeia was ready for her counterattack, lips already pulled back from her gruesome canines, when his voice cut through the air. It was that deep and powerful voice which shook her to the core, the voice of a demon, or rather her demon. But she had once again been tricked because the words obviously reflected that the demon had more to address than just herself. Her attack was dropped, Silacea almost forgotten, as she listened to his words, waiting for her punishment. It was as if she was expecting the words of her own demon to make its way to Steele's mouth, ventriloquism between look-a-likes. But no such thing happened, instead Tye was dealt a blow through the words of their Alpha. Cassiopeia's eyes darted to Tye, like siblings enduring a punishment together, she looked for any underlying emotions from him. All she saw was an Omega, tail tucked and head low, but as was correct. For some odd reason she expected something different, but as she thought it through she couldn't decipher what she had been looking for.

As Steele's words swayed in her direction, she took the proper position as well. Her tail sunk, it had been freed during the fight, as had her ears, so she readjusted them too. She looked to Silacea, wondering if she wished to resolve this spar or if they should carry on. Her demon cautioned her, she had become emotionally invested and it was questionable if she could keep herself indifferent. She also questioned if Silacea had become invested as well, if they couldn't resolve this matter merely with a winner and loser. The air had also shifted, it had become thick through Steele's words. Undecided she spoke, her eyes shifting from her Alpha to the Warrior she sparred with. "Alpha, I will leave it up to Silacea whether we shall continue. No doubt we can resume another day, though, maybe when it is more pleasant," She did not care for the weather, she was referring to the situation they were in. All considering it was three wolves watching her spar and that did make her the slightest bit uncomfortable. If she was surer of the outcome, more certain that her superiority would win out, than it would be different. But things were slowly spiraling out of control and she felt that there may be a need to stop it before it reached rock bottom.

[It's all good Tye and I think Cassi already got you back -smirks at bloody claw marks- and thank you Steele for stepping in and posting the sparring thread. Silacea, I assumed that you went for the blow, rather then actually landed it.]
