Pain trudged through the snow, step by step in the early morning light, his foots steps making a faint crunch with every stride in the silent pack clearing. The sun had not yet even risen above the the pack's lands but still a dim light fell over everything, casting no shadows. Even the chilly night air still lingered, causing the male to ruffle his fur to keep in the heat as his misty breaths formed little clouds. As Pain looked around not a soul stirred, it seemed it was at the point during dawn when all the night hunters had turned in for the day but the wolves who were active during the day had not yet awakened. Pain on the other hand had made sure he would wake up at the correct time.

As he left the clearing he dis not have to go very far. He was going to meet the Elite Katyusha for a morning patrol together and training, today being his first day of training. The brute was somewhat eager to reach the fallen den where they were supposed to meet, a slight spring in his step.

He arrived in a few short minutes at the fallen den. It was just in the nick of time, he noted to himself as he watched the tip of the sun peek, casting long shadows across the landscape. Pain was glad he had already found someone to train him, now he would truly get stronger.

As the male arrived the smaller elite would stand from her place on the top, a small amount of snow falling around her. Slowly she would yawn lightly and turn her attention to the new warrior "Right on time it seems..." she said, her tone and gaze making it seem almost like she was bored "Come....we have a long ways to go before your training can start." she said starting to walk towards the mountains again, tail lashing gently behind her "Enjoy your first night in Erenyx?" she asked softly, stopping by the kill pile to get a rabbit. Normally Katyusha wouldn't take from the kill pile, since she was a fairly good huntress. But in her condition she had to eat, and hunting was too risky and time consuming.

Carefully the fae would put the rabbit over her neck and walk forward "We are going to start off light today...give you a bit of a test to see how you will do...And give you a little taste of what your training will be like." she said honestly, still not entirely awake yet.

When the Elite emerged from atop the fallen den, the one who was now his mentor, she seemed tired, or perhaps bored. She seemed to have just woken up compared to Pain, who was already fully awake. The warrior attributed it to the pup she carried. Training would most likely not be very intense until her pup was born he assumed.

As he began to follow her, going towards the mountains again it seemed he remained silent for the most part until she asked a question, "Yes," he stated. He did not really know what she meant by asking if he enjoyed it, but his den that he had built did well in keeping the cold out that night.

As she went over the objectives of that day of training Pain nodded slightly, not taking anything from the kill pile himself. Instead he followed her without a word, ready to get a taste for how hard the training will be.

Katyusha would yawn lightly again as she walked, pushing herself through the snow with ease. This was her natural habitat. She had grown up in the snow, and the cold, it was a part of her just as breathing. As the fae presented her question and received a very short answer she will nod "That will change now." she said honestly, moving forward still.

With those words she would allow silence to fall between the pair. Slowly she would continue to snake along the border, until soon the familiar icy slope of the mountain would come into view again, a small rather sadistic smirk coming to her lips. Today was going to be the first real fun she's had since Steele was taken from her, it would not be easy for him. He would not enjoy it. But soon he would be the first member of her army.

(sorry about the late reply. Just started work and they have me pulling 10-12 hour shifts 6 days a week. I should be more active now though.)
