Rook Empty
PostSubject: Rook Rook Icon_minitimeMarch 16th 2016, 15:09

Name: Rook

Gender: Female

Age: 2

Breed: Grey Wolf

Height: 80 cm

Pack: Agavos

Rank Requested: Warrior

Appearance:
She is an average sized grey wolf, 80 cm tall and around 90 lbs which varies depending upon diet and training. She fit like most wolves and has a decent amount of muscle and is able to hold her own in a contest of strength although it isn't difficult to be stronger than she is. Her eyes are an orange-gold color and her coat is black while it catches light the actual fur is black, and like all grey wolves, she has two layers. She has many scars but most of the smaller ones are hidden by her thick coat. Her most prominent ones are along her legs and face. She has smaller scars and nicks in her ears from flies and fights but nothing noticeable, if you scrutinize you can see them. On her face, she only has a few scars along her muzzle from where she was bitten, but none of them stand out. She has two large scars, one across her right shoulder stretching from the area of her leg nearest the bottom of her rib towards the middle of her neck for around four inches. The other scar is also on her right side, starting where the neck meets her shoulder on the bottom following the path of her shoulder blade for about six inches when she moves it is hardly noticeable but it is large enough to be easily seen otherwise. She's evenly built, not bulky or skinny, and her ears are conical, her paws are large as per usual and her tail reaches about halfway down her hind legs.

Personality:
She doesn't like to take attitude from anyone, and is very easily angered. This is often a weakness because like most when she's angry she doesn't think straight, although it can backfire. She's more prone to simple irritation than full out rage. She isn't stupid and she'll use it to annoy others. She'll use her brain but won't often use it for others advantage. She often thinks she knows more than she actually does, and she is slightly overconfident in her own mental ability. Rook isn't one to not take an opportunity, she's less concerned with pesky things like asking if what she's doing is right or wrong and more interested in her own benefit or the cost that she'll get out of said action. This translates into how she sees others as well; she assumes that everyone is looking out for themselves and isn't very interested in her well-being. Wolves who do things for genuinely nice reasons are almost out of her ability to comprehend, but she's quick to take advantage of them when it suits her.  That being said she isn't one to interact with others unless there is a purpose, but she'll spend time with her pack out of convenience. She is honest only so long as there is no reason to be dishonest, lying is an effort and she has no moral problems doing it but she doesn't always want to put the energy into doing it. She doesn't really care if others see the darker sides of her personality, or her only personality, as long as she doesn't lose anything from doing so. In this way she is honest, if she thinks she can get something out of it and she can get away with it she will lie, but otherwise she'll tell the truth. Most of the time though her honesty, while valuable, is extremely blunt. While she doesn't have any special ability to seek out flaws in character or physically if she does see or perceive them she won't hesitate to tell you in a tactless or insensitive way - just being honest. While she can easily hide it she doesn't hold a whole lot of respect for others. Rank is of little object to her when forming her opinion and attitude towards others, the amount of respect she would show an alpha and an omega is about the same and the amount of respect she shows is based almost solely off of the consequences of her actions. She has few friends because of this and doesn't really mind her lack of friends or acquaintances. Unless her enemy is of a significantly higher rank she has no qualms about expressing her dislike of them in a manner that gives way to her feelings.

History:
Rook was born to a pair of loners and had three siblings, one brother and two sisters. As soon as the pups were old enough to move her parents forced them to do so often to keep the family safe from the packs who disliked loners who hung around their borders. She grew up with a healthy sense of independence and disdain for pack wolves and was always taught to look out for herself first in the event that her family was attacked; because of this she didn't form a very strong bond with any of her siblings or even her parents. At around four months a group of warriors attacked her and her family as they traveled along the border but her brother died and she was obtained the scar across her shoulder blade. She had already been learning to fight and hunt and this highlighted her need to accelerate her learning curve. At around eight months her sister, who was a proficient fighter and hunter, decided that she wanted to join a pack. The family had stayed at the edge of a pack's territory and the next morning Rook's sister was gone, Rook wanted to go back to find her but her parents were anxious to leave so of course she went back without her parents to find her sister despite knowing she shouldn't care. Instead of finding her sister stuck in a battle with warrior she was chased from pack lands by her sister as proof of her loyalty to her newfound pack, the fight that ensued left her sister bleeding on the ground and Rook running with the nasty scar on her shoulder along with more she didn't care whether her sister died or not and told herself she wasn't going to make the same mistake again. Shortly after this she decided that she had had enough, and left her family to be on her own. She found that though she liked the fact that she didn't have to worry about others she did miss the social aspect.

She traveled for awhile and collected more scars, but only once considered joining another pack and turning herself around. She was hunting within a pack's territory, but confident that she would' be caught and she wasn't. She lingered by the borders for awhile until she was finally caught by another young she-wolf and despite their differences a one-sided friendship was developed and continued for a few months and then Rook began to return the sentiments. She was willing to join the pack but wasn't accepted, the alpha recognized her as the rogue who had been hunting on his lands and she was chased off. Uncharacteristically she didn't fight with the warriors and left without a fight. She met up with her friend and forced her to return back to her pack knowing that the other she-wolf wouldn't be able to survive the change in lifestyle. She had passed one year by a few months and the urge to mate hadn't yet seized her but she was still restless. Rook continued on and came across the lands of Pyrvanthros, Helidos, Erenyx, and Agavos. She at first had little desire to join a pack but after awhile found a pack she thought would accept her. She is ready to join although if she will remain loyal is yet to be seen, she hasn't spent a long time here but the hunting seems good.

Joining Keys: Keys have served their purpose and returned to their hiding spots in the rules - Tundra.

Example Post:
The black female stretched lazily underneath the moonlight rolling her eyes slightly maybe she just wouldn't get up tonight, looking at the silver orb only beginning to light up the night she considered it for a moment before rolling onto her paws. Glancing around she took in the forest all around her, she was perfectly at ease trespassing on this pack's territory, and scented the air. She supposed not everything could be perfect and she silently began moving her paws towards the border, she couldn't scent any prey near here and it was probably not the best idea to go deeper into the pack lands than she was. Melding with the shadows of the trees she continued to scent the air and continued to scent nothing Isn't that just great she thought sarcastically. Her paws stopped and she wondered if it was time to move on and as she felt herself drawn away from the border she grinned. Maybe it was time to say goodbye to this pack who couldn't even properly patrol their borders even though that made things easier for her. Standing on the other side of the scent line she fixed her gaze on the moon before shutting her eyes and letting out one triumphant howl, Let them chew on that.

She was tempted to stay behind just to see a riled group of warriors rush to the border and maybe even scuffle but she turned and left, if this pack couldn't patrol their borders she doubted that their warriors would be any good and it wasn't worth the effort even if they were. She vaguely scented wolves but she couldn't really tell how close they were or if they were coming at all so she bunched her hind quarters and set off with the characteristic lope of a wolf. She felt like she could run forever, she continued to keep her ears perked just in case anyone was around but other than that she let her surroundings blur around her. Alone the word hit her but she continued hitting the ground in rhythm, a slight smile tugged at her lips as she panted. Glancing up at the sky with the thick and heavy air sticking to her coat and millions of tiny sounds filling the silence she didn't think she would give this up for the world. Yeah she thought, comfortable in her own skin and her fur flat across her back.

Greetings Rook, and welcome to Age Of The Wolves! Before you can be accepted into the site, please correct the following:

- Joining Keys - You are missing the second key. Please re-read through the rules and find the missing key.
- Profile - I did some editing to it, making it look as the other profiles who have been added to the site. Please know that we do not have any "years" accustomed to the current year we are in now. There's not really a time set other than the site years themselves. Please do not change back anything I have adjusted for you.

Once you have found the missing key, please add it in and alert a member of the Staff by commenting on this post. Thank you, and we hope to accept you soon!
