Fog that was all that could be seen. A thick grey mass it engulfed everything and anything in its path. Like an eerie being it moved over the ground, shrouding it from view. Swirling with every little movement around it. Yet little moved within the fog filled forest, that was until a mass appeared. It moved through the fog with purpose, unconcerned by its presence. It's sturdy paws making little noise as it padded along, thick fur brushing through the fog. Pale oculars flashing in the fog, staring ahead as if they could see despite the white shroud. This of course was not true, in fact the creature who walked the fog was a fae. Her mind so caught up in her own thoughts, she'd simply allowed her paws to lead her way. No, Delta Tatsu hadn't intended to end up in the Cynical Hollow. Finished a fruitless border patrol, the thick furred she-wolf had started to wander. Her mind as it often did becoming lost in her past. The spring time weather in Pyrvanthros bringing back bitter sweet memories. Memories of her pups frolicking in the grass, play fighting and chasing butterflies. These memories however hurt more than anything. For Tatsu would never get to experience them again, not with her pups. For she had left them behind...

Huffing Tatsu shakes her skull. They're better off, she reminds herself pausing in her stroll. Pale yellow eyes darting around she sighs. " Fog... my favorite." She mutters sarcastically, pushing forward she continues along. Her senses now more alert, ears swiveling around. Her nose twitched desperately attempting to scent her way out. Yet the fog was thick and made the air smell damp for lack of a better word. Even when the wind howled through the trees the fog did not lift. Instead it simply swirled around the Delta making her sneeze. Wonderful... I'm lost, she thought ticked off with herself for allowing such a foolish thing to happen.

( I know we discussed wanting to have another thread between these two. Hope you don't mind me starting this^^)

"If you think reality is just living comfortably and following your own whims, can you seriously dare to call yourself a soldier?"

"He speaks"
He listens
He thinks

He couldn't make sense of it, no matter where he turned or went along his way, some memory of his past seemed to follow. But spring had not reached the lands and all it's glory, filling the brute with hope for change, for not just the season, but for himself as well his pack. Surely, being that the members were still new to the area, there would not be an increase of numbers joining them this spring, though perhaps that could change for the better. Borders were fruitless, he had grown tired of checking them to only be met with nothing on the other side to greet him. It was strange here, the Elite force back home was not made to check the borders, but protect the interior from harm. Titans were constantly watching from the outside, but it was not his duty to guard the farthest wall. Instead, he was to stay closer towards the center of the pack most of the time, though once every intrusion of monsters came passed boundaries, that was his moment to shine. He remembered it like it were yesterday, Mikaysia and Arminodin there at his side, Leviathan leading just a few paces ahead as they'd pass their borders and into the unknown to cut down the amount of threat Titans placed over them. He sighed heavily, the thought alone still giving him shivers as he'd recall the sacrifices made every expedition. He respected every one of them, for it was a war every time they left the pack, their courage meant everything to him and his unit.

Breaking free from the past and blending into the present atmosphere, Xerentis trusted his paws and automatic senses to guide him as he'd day dream. He felt the need to stop every so often to mark his grounds, for he had begun to notice a change in weather and a dramatic arrival of a thick fog which nearly made him blind as he'd peer through the land. He had almost every intention for it to be a small stroll through the timber, but later on he realized it wouldn't be that sort of adventure that evening. Instead of casually finding himself back to camp, he allowed his thick, dusty white furred mass to blend into the background, the only source of color being the dark colors of his bi-colored eyes. He remembered the last he'd been here, thus resulting in granting himself two reliable friends in the process, but having a difficulty leaving thereafter. Fortunately for him, he kept a steady gaze throughout the territory since entering, learning from his previous mistake and observing the obscure land with hesitation. Just when he had thought to of been alone, he slowed to a silent halt and turned his ears to the sound of sneezing. How peculiar..., thought the wolf, his gaze squinting through the fog with common curiosity.

Following the sound to reach it's source, Xerentis expected it to be someone he knew, though the chances of it being an actual person versus his cynical thoughts playing tricks on him was quite slim. Unmoved by the thick fog in his way, the ivory wolf neared casually to the figure that became clearer to see the closer he reached it, only to be met with his equal - Tatsu. From the direction he came, he had come up behind her, though was quiet so that he would not spook her as easily. He breathed softly through his mouth and slid his paw along the dirt next to her flank to notify her that he was there, "Enjoying yourself, Miss?" He had meant it to sound less sarcastic than it had been made out to be, though he fastened a dashing grin even still.

Tatsu hadn't expected anyone to be around. Who would want to wander around in the fog? Well that 'who' was none other than her white counterpart Xerentis. Inhaling sharply as a noise alerts her to his presence, Tatsu turns around swiftley. Her broad shoulders rolling forward in case of attack. Yet when she turned she came face to face with Xerentis's bi-colored orbs. " Oh it's just you..." She murmurs, teeth flashing at his words. His own grin melting into the surrounding fog, like the rest of his white body. " Oh yes. I just love blindly roaming through fog. A favorite pastime of mine it is!" She snorts back in a joking manner. Her short tail actually wagging some behind her, even though it was impossible to see through the fog. " What brings you out here Xerentis?" She asks, eyeing the brute curiously her pale oculars even more piercing in appearance in the thick fog. She respected the brute, not just because he was her equal. No Tatsu had worked with him personally, gotten to know a little about him. He was diligent, respectful and just as eager for a challenge as herself. It was something she admired about the ivory brute. He was unlike others she had met, a bit of a mystery. A professed hunter when they'd first met, Tatsu had noted an air to him that suggested he'd been much more in his past.

Huffing a bit, Tatsu relaxes her body. She had nothing to fear from the other Delta of Pyrvanthros. He was on her side. " You wouldn't happen to know the way out of here?" She inquires, pale oculars hopeful. She disliked revealing her foolish mistake, but the fact she was lost was probably obvious to Xerentis. She still however was unsure what he was doing roaming about in the shroud. Bored as I am? She wonders. Wishing heavily that wolves would start knocking at their borders.
