Name: Lyall

Gender: Male

Age: 3 years

Pack: Agavos

Rank Requested: Hunter

Appearance:
Lyall is a fairly average wolf, with the height of 73 cm from the ground. His head is followed by a slim, but lean body covered in snow colored fur. Wisps on his back, following his spine, are black. If you look into his eyes, you will see golden gems peering back at you. He weighs just enough to keep a healthy form, but not enough to be considered overweight. Lyall’s tail is poofy, with all the hair on his tail coming out at all angles. On his left front paw, there’s a small black spot, which he’s had his whole life. His life has been exceptionally well, and that resulted in Lyall not bearing any scars on his body.

Lyall's Introduction 676261_orig

History:
All Lyall’s life, he has been taught to be nice to everyone. He has been taught to provide for others before himself; being selfless was a key factor in being a good, obedient wolf pup. His parents always had him get his filling of the tasty kill after the respected elders and the brave hunters of their petty pack. It was always like that for him. Lyall dealt with this lifestyle for a while, until he got fed up with it, and made some decisions that changed his life forever.

From the very beginning, since he was the born into a litter of four, he was always expected to set a good example for his younger siblings. He had two younger brothers, and one sister - Haiden, Kilija and Ree. His siblings looked up to him, and admired him, but Lyall always knew he could do better. Improve on something. Make a change. Something. His parents were persistent on making Lyall a respectful wolf; one to always set the good example. His mother pursued his behavior, while his father taught him from the start how to hunt, and how to provide for the family and the “pack” along with much discipline.

Lyall was in a small pack of five different wolf families. Each family having their own young canids, and older canids. His father was to become leader when the current leader retired from his position. Coming after his father, Lyall would inherit the leader position. Well, that’s before he decided to become a loner away from the pack. His parents were high-ranked in the miniscule pack. The lower ranks (as if there were that many besides Lyall’s siblings) looked up to them, and Lyall had a good reputation with the pack members. The elders were approving of him, and the hunters appreciated his selflessness.

His life seemed to be this way until one particular summer. The summer he turned three. That summer, he decided that he wanted to fend for himself. He was getting tired of doing things for other wolves before himself, and he really didn’t want to fight, so he decided to straight up leave his pack. He remembers the words he said to his father as clear as day, and he remembers what his father said back to him even clearer-

“Father, I wish to part with this pack. I have a strong bond with you and Mother still, but I would rather go and fend for myself for once. Helping others is a decent way to live, until I have lived this way for my whole life. I hope that you accept my request and accept what I think is best for me.”

“Son, I understand that you have doubts about this way of living, and that’s okay. I hope you think about coming back some day. I want you to remember a few things though, if you are to make this decision and leave: respect others and listen to your elders, and your siblings are going to ask what happened to you. They might not have the same opinion about you if you choose to do this. If you ever do decide to return, keep in mind that we might not be a pack anymore when you do, due to the diminishing number of canids. Try not to expect a lot of wolves to come back to. Your mother and I love you no matter what. So if this is what you’d like to do, then go ahead.”

That became his plan. He left after that short conversation, repeating what his father said to him over and over in his mind. He pondered what he just did, and what decision he made. Up until he stumbled upon a forest where many, many wolf scents filled his nose, he wanted to stay a loner. Of course it would be nice to be a loner, Lyall had the thought that maybe if he joined a new pack, it would be better for him. Maybe a new start, fresh new faces, scents and canids will make him content.

Joining Keys: Joining Keys present and removed - Elite Nnlya

How did you find Age? Shortly after Raegan found the site, she invited me to join it, too. I like the site; it’s very organized and easy to maneuver. Can’t wait to start roleplaying!

Example Post:
Lyall stepped further into the water, feeling the cool liquid take form around his paw pads and around his muscled legs. He took a deep breath and took in his surrounding scent. The smell was a wet kind of fresh - the rain’s scent. The sun was shining again, but beforehand the rain seemed to cascade down upon the ground. The rain calmed him, making him feel relaxed. It was rare, any more, that Lyall felt relaxed.

As he waded in the creek, he thought about home, and how his parents, siblings, and the puny pack were doing. His head bowed, remembering the times that he spent with them. As soon as that thought crossed his mind, he shook his head to rid of the thought. That was the past. Nothing for him to remember; he had to go forwards to the future. He needed to move on.

He stepped back out of the creek, and shook off. He noticed that the water that stuck in his tail made it even more puffy than normal. That made him smile for a mere second, then it was gone. He had to keep going. Lyall started walking, and headed forwards, not knowing exactly where he was going, but that he was doing what was best for him.

Hello Lyall and welcome to AGE!

Before you can be accepted, your history is just a tad bit too short. Maybe you can add in a few details about his life? Maybe add in a few encounters with siblings, like what they were like/meant to him. Or just some more detail <3

Also, there are a few grammar errors that need to be corrected, lowercase letters where they need to be uppercased, etc.

Fix these things and a member of the staff will look over the joining application again!

Thank you~ Mod Rose
P.S, once you fix it, comment below!
