Summer was waxing into its full heat. Fledgling birds were starting to beat their wings, testing their readiness for their first flights. Life moved on and where some were just beginning, others where either carrying on or passing. For a lightly hued fae, her life hung in the balance. She had a constant companion though to keep her company. An unmercifully cruel companion to say the least.

She had been dragged from the boarder in the most humiliating manor, brought before the alpha male and had been attacked by said alpha. He had crushed her back leg and then had refused treatment of it. The pain had been excruciating, but she never faltered in hiding her true identity. Not even to save herself the agony. It was a few days later when she had Ben She bore it, making herself appear like a weak, injured fae. At times it had not been hard to let the pain show. No, it had been harder keeping the pain from her face. Especially when the wound had started to fester.

It was either fail her newly acquired Alpha pair and die of blood poisoning, or she could suck it up and make a drastic decision. Taking the later, Marona had steadily chewed her leg to rid herself of the offending and useless member. It had taken several days, the pain had become intense, bordering on insanity. But when she had finally cut through the last bit of cartilage, she had found a little bit of relief. After the member had been removed Marona had become weak. A little food and a bit of water, just enough to keep her alive, had been given to her.

When she had been told by a new jailer that she was to be taken to the healer she had given s weak bark of laughter. Now that her life was in jeopardy they had seen fit to save her life. Gods, she wanted to live! So she hauled her thin dirty frame to her remaining legs and limped out after her jailer with her head low and drooping ears into the bright sunshine. She was silent on the way to the den but she did notice the absence of a few pups. Hhmm, what's going on here? How long have I been in that den? At the Healers den she limped past the guard as he gave her a nasty look. "Hello? Healer are you here?" she called out once inside the dim interior. She winced at the sound of her weak voice.

_______________ ▼ _______________
She gazes. "She sings." She believes.

Whilst collecting herbs and colorful necessities in the mountains to spruce up the den and supply the inventory, the she-wolf chose her items wisely and kept a light amount to carry back with her. The sun was just beginning to actually rise into the skies as she had reached the top of the mountains, and by the time she left, it was at the center, meaning mid-day and hopefully a quiet return to camp. She hummed soft tunes, nothing more but a small smile to capture the voice that kept singing inside while she began the long trek back. Usually she would've carried the substances on a large piece of bark, but with little she chose to return with, she decided the easiest method was by putting them gently between her jaws. It made getting through narrow spaces much easier and less of an issue with splinters found in her gums. Picking up the pace, a bit of excitement began to run through her bones as the wind picked up and blew through her coat, causing her to speed down the mountainside and onward into the treeline where she came from. Within minutes, she was surrounded by shadows coming off the trees and shrubbery, flashes of little rays of sun following over her form as she sprinted with the herbs in her mouth. She smirked at her ability to still run so quickly on her own, even while holding something carefully.

It never crossed her mind to take the short route home. As usual, she took the longer way to enjoy the scenery and have some time to her thoughts. Breathing in the smell of fresh dew, Cliché smiled and continued to run with the image of a certain someone on her mind. Through what made the happiness erase and be pushed aside with concern, she smelled a newer scent near her station. Without further thought, she sped up and in no time to spare, she trotted through the trees and towards the heart of Erenyx. Amber eyes rolling over the scene and peering to any wolves that may of been in sight, she moved in carefully, head leveled as she silently cleared herself a path to the healing den. There, a fae waited with a limp. She didn't.. look familiar, the healer thought to herself, studying her more so before moving passed her quickly to put down the herbs and flowers in the den and turning towards her. Shaking out her pelt, the lead approached the other she-wolf and nodded her head courteously before even speaking, "Am now. Don't just stand there, miss, come in, come in. There's plenty of room." Moving over so that the wolf may enter, Cliché got a closer look at what she assumed she would be working with, narrowing her eyes on the foreigner but not questioning it. She was either new or forced here, and, while both did not surprise her, she didn't care to pry, just another body to care for. "Do I dare ask what you did to your leg?" The lead said, raising a single brow though hesitating to grab the comfrey and broom as soon as she got the chance once the female was finally comfortable.
