Exploring the territory (Omega Teeku)

Naya had been walking around in her new packs territory most of the day. It was close to sun going down and she had reached Brimstone Grove, and she had to admit that it was incredibly beautiful. She couldn't remember when she last time had seen something so beautiful, even with the snow covering everything in a thick white layer. She looked around taking everything in, the scents, the nature and the small noises that birds and other animals would make. She truly felt that she belonged here. She was still getting used to being back in a pack again. The memories of her last pack still haunted her, but she was getting better, and with all the wolves that were in need of treatment kept her mind occupied for most of the time, but today she had decided that she would explore the whole territory or at least as much as it that she could while there were still a sun shining. She walked further into the forest, her paws sinking deep into the layer of snow. She appreciated the fact that it wasn't snowing right now otherwise she would be covered in snowflakes, the thought of her covered in snowflakes made her laugh out loud. For a moment she froze not moving a single muscle "Take it easy Naya, you are in a pack now. No one would dare to harm you as long as you are within your packs territory " she scolded herself before she shook of the thought of anyone attacking the pack.

She began to walk again, taking in how the sun warmed her body whenever she would stop to take a closer look at some of the trees making a map in her mind of all those places

Teeku slipped through the snow, his paws making little noise on the frost covered ground. Even Teeku's damaged limb made no noise, as it had since healed. It still held a nasty scar, but beneath the scar his bone had mended fully. He was lucky, not many walked away from a broken limb alive and well. Trotting along in silence, the tall dark brute lifted his slender face to the sky. The sun, which dappled the snowy ground between the branches lighting his face. Revealing the subtle flecks of silver fur that splatter his pelt. Blinking his deep amber eyes, Teeku glances around. Here in his home he felt safe, despite the war that Helidos had lost he still felt safe. Perhaps it was because he trusted their new leader beyond a doubt. Alphess Rose, when he'd first met the fae she'd been a Guardian, and the wolf who'd accepted him graciously into Helidos. She was a fae like no other, despite holding a high position she was kind to all, respectful. Even when Teeku had forgotten his proper manners in his eagerness, Rose had not reprimanded him harshly. Instead she'd offered him a home, and a promise.

Flickering his ears some, Teeku pauses when a laugh catches his ears. Curious the young brute raises his long maw to the air, sniffing. It didn't take long for him to sniff out the scent of a fae. Her scent was faintly of Helidos suggesting she was new. Picking up his pace Teeku padded closer, amber eyes seeking out the fae. Rounding a maple tree he spots the fae walking in the opposite direction. " Greetings stranger!" He calls moving swiftly on his long limbs to catch up to her. As he approached he could smell the overpowering aroma of herbs. Nose twitching he wonders if the fae was ill or a healer. Looking her over he could find no aliment however. " My name is Teeku." He says his tone light and friendly. " I haven't seen you around camp before, are you new?" He inquires, his tail sweeping the air behind him.

Naya turned around when she heard someone talk, she relaxed quickly when she caught the scent of Helidios on the wolf before her. She looked at him with curiosity in her eyes "Hello Teeku a pleasure to meet you. My name is Naya and yes I am new to this pack, I haven't been here for long, so I decided that I would get to know the territory" she told him softly with a hint of warmth in her soft voice. She looked behind him when a black shadow caught her eyes, it was simply a rabbit jumping back into hiding. She looked back at him "What are you doing out here ?" she asked curiously. She looked at him again trying to see if she could remember him from when she had begun her walk in the morning, but she failed. *a new friend is always welcome, especially in a new pack she thought to herself with a smile.

Teeku was pleased to find a warmth in the fae's voice. It seemed most of the pack was struggling after the war. The loss of Quinn leaving many with a hollow tone of emptiness in their voices. But here stood a newcomer one who hadn't been involved in the blood shed. Her mind wasn't warped by the events that had taken place. Blinking these thoughts away, Teeku bows his head politely. " It's a pleasure to meet you Naya." He says his tail still wagging. At her question he shifts his boney shoulders in a shrug. " Oh just out for a walk I suppose..." He says noticing the fae looked not at him but over his shoulder. Glancing back he wondered what she'd seen. " I injured my leg a while back." He explains, turning his head back towards the soft spoken she-wolf. He nods to his right hind limb, the scar obvious as it was still rather nasty looking. " Broken tibia during the war." He continues throat slightly dry at the memory. " It healed but I was cooped up in camp for weeks. Its almost better though." he adds a new found hope gleaming in his deep eyes. " It only twinges on occasion and I can put my full weight on it now." Smiling some he realizes he'd been babbling. " Oh er sorry.." He mumbles ducking his skull and pulling back his long ears. " You probably didn't want to hear all that... Have you been enjoying your time here so far?" He asks her, eager to get to know his new pack mate. Since joining Helidos Teeku hadn't really gotten a chance to make friends. He missed being close to someone, and now that he wasn't fighting a war or healing from a wound he was ready to start finding wolves he could truly bond with.

Naya chuckled a bit at his babbling ""No need to stop talking, I enjoy hearing you talk" she said softly. At the mention of his injury she looked closer at his shoulder. The scar was something that couldn't hide, she froze for a moment *That can only have been painfull* she thought with sorrow. ""A painful thing a injury like this can be. Difficult to treat it also can be" she said thoughtful for a moment she was lost in her mind of how the best way could be to treat such a injury. She came back to the present smiling warmly ""No, I don't mind hearing all that, I'm the new healer " she said it with a bit of pride. She wouldn't brag about it. She met his eyes, she liked his company it made her relax and she already felt that she had known him for a long time *you are such a fool. You have just met him a little voice inside her head said. She would have shrugged it off if it wasn't because she was with him. ""Yes, I really enjoy to be here. It is nice to be back with a pack. And to be of use makes it even more wonderful" she said warmly. It was nice to have such an relaxed conversation for the first time in such a long time.

Teeku's eyes twinkle at Naya's words. A smile spreading across his narrow maw and filling his eyes with a gleam. " You do?" He says cocking his head sideways puzzled. " My mother always told me I talked to much. Said I needed to learn how to control my impulses or something like that..." He admits wrinkling his nose a bit at the thought. Suddenly he realized his face made him look like he didn't like his mother. " Not that she wasn't a good fae..." He continues quickly. " But she just wasn't very er... fun. I guess you could say." Ears perking back up Teeku listens to Naya's next statement. His deep amber eyes watching hers flick to his injury. He straightens a bit suddenly feeling the need to look impressive or something. " Yeah lucky for me Alphess Rose knows a bit about healing herself. Elsewise I would of been visiting with the earth worms by now..."
Shivering at the idea he chuffs shrugging it away. He didn't much feel like discussing his injury. Hearing Naya say she was a healer made Teeku grin. " A healer? Really? That's wonderful!" he exclaims tail sweeping against Naya's flank accidentally he jumps sideways a bit. Flushing he tries to pretend it hadn't happened. " Ha Helidos really needed a healer. Its nice to have you... I mean the pack to have you not me... er." He flushes again cursing his tongue tied words. " Apologies I have never been very good with words." He admits chuffing at her and smiling again. Nodding at her, he glances around them. " Yeah I feel the same way..." He admits. " Back home before I...left...." He hesitated he hadn't really left so much as been forced to leave. " I well I wasn't very useful to my birth pack or at least they didn't think so..." Looking away he falls silent. He rarely gave a thought to his parents or siblings anymore. Having been asked to leave his home during his rebellious age, he had been eager to get away. Now Teeku couldn't help but feel a little hurt. Had his family not wanted him...? Sighing Teeku raised his eyes back to Naya. Suddenly like a playful yearling he ducked down his head, his haunches waving through the air. Darting in he attempts to nip playfully at the fae, hoping she'd join in. He adored a good frolic through the snow, it seemed to only good use of the cold wet weather.

Naya's eyes lit up as she listened to him speak, it was nice almost soothing. "Yes, it's nice to listen to you speak" she told him sweetly. She looked around in she snow, there were so many tracks. She looked back at him as he spoke again, she felt his tail against her flank making her flush a bit "I'm glad that I will be of some use here" she chuckled a bit at his words "No need to worry Teeku. I'm not particular good with words as well" she said softly with a hint of a laughter. "I am happy to hear that other wolves in this pack knows how to heal, or at least a bit. In my old pack it was only the healer and the apprentice that knew about healing. " she said softly the memory of her old pack didn't hurt as much as before but she couldn't help but to look down at her paws, she looked over at his paws only to look up at him once again *he is a good looking wolf. His mate must be lucky to have him she thought with a smile. The thought of a mate had been on her mind for a while, she knew that she hoped to get a mate some day and be able to start her own family.

She laughed at his behavior before she used her paw to throw some snow after him before she giggling jumped out of his reach "catch me if you can! " she shouted after him with a playful voice

" I don't think "some use" gives you enough credit." Teeku admits honestly. " Helidos was really aching for a healer. Sure Rose knew some but its nothing compared to having someone of your skills here. I'm sure Rose is delighted to have you here. As delighted as I am." His eyes dance. " Now when I go and break something else I'll have someone around to heal me. I felt bad taking Rose away from her leadership duties. " He mumbles half jokingly. It was true he'd hated it. He didn't want to add extra stress or burden to their new leader's life. Worrying over a silly brute like himself? It wasn't her job.
Enthralled when a chunk of cold wet snow was lobbed in his direction, Teeku dodges it playfully. Yipping he accepts her challenge with glee. He was built for speed, " Oh I can!" he barks darting forward to run after her, tongue lolling out happily. Finally something fun to do! He thought tail waving through the air behind him like a sail, ears pinned back for speed. His paws kicking up snow behind him, as he attempted to nip at Naya's ankles.

" Next time you break something or get sick you comes to me, then we can talk about my abilities " Naya laughed with the wind, she saw him running to catch her so she waited until he were inches apart from her before she ran the opposite direction throwing some snow in his direction before running as fast as she could. But because of her small legs she couldn't run very fast and soon she was stuck in some deep snow. She looked around trying to get out of the snow that she had dived in, the snow was just right under her nose "Teeku! I'm stuck in the snow, and I can't get up without help!" she shouted with a clear laughter in her voice. She looked around waiting for him to come and hopefully he would help her out of this snow cage.

Meanwhile she used the time to think about everything that had happened since she left her old pack, she had been alone but thankfully not for long. She had joined a new pack, she were now a healer without the old grumpy healer from her old pack watching her every move, oh how she hated that old pervert, always tracking some of the younger she-wolves. And now, here she was. Stuck in the snow playing with Teeku, her life did certainly change for the better, she had to admit that.

Teeku chuffs as before him Naya slipped into a deep patch of snow becoming stuck. Skidding to a halt, he sprays snow over the top of her head in the process. Laughing a little he shakes the snow from his own fur and cocks his slender face sideways. " I guess I didn't have to catch you..." he says playfully, " The snow did that for me." Moving forward on nimble paws, Teeku took to digging at the mound of snow that seemed to of swallowed his new found friend. " There!" He huffs standing back to see if the fae would be able to escape. His long tail wagged happily and he eye'd her playfully, keeping his distance so she wouldn't be able to simply pounce on him. Her circles her, his deep amber eyes glittering in the bright light which slipped through the trees. Bowing down some, he nips the snow tossing a little in her direction, then quick as a flash he darts around a tree out of view. Breath swirling away from his face he waits expectantly hoping she would give chase.

Naya laughed warmly at his comments "It's not my fault that the snow caught me before you could" she said playfully with a mischievous gleam in her yellow eyes. She jumped happily out of he snow cage "Thanks Teeku" she said a bit flushed that he had to help her out of the snow. She didn't have the time to dodge the snow he threw after her, she was hit in the face. She could imagine how silly she looked which made her laugh once again. As he ran away she decided that she would wait for just a few seconds *ha, who am I kidding, lets go* she laughed in her head as she ran out to find and hopefully ambush Teeku

Teeku huffed cold air as he awaited Naya. His body poised for pouncing, his muscles tense with excitement. His deep amber eyes flickered from side to side waiting to see which side of the tree Naya might come around. His heart beating rapidly in his chest with the thrill of the chase. His tail unable to keep still waved behind him thumping against the trunk of a maple tree. Suddenly Naya came around the bend of the tree to his left, turning on nimble paws Teeku launches himself forward. A yip of excitement escapes his throat as he attempts to push Naya over with his front paws. " Got you!" He barks as he comes flying in her direction a blur of black fur. His amber eyes dancing with playful triumph, as he goes. For the first time in weeks he was having fun. His mind wasn't worrying about his injury, the war or the trouble the pack faced. Instead he felt free and gleeful, playing with a she-wolf he barely knew.

Naya looked surprised around as she felt herself tumble around in the snow. She laid still for a moment before she sat up, snow covering her fac, she shook the snow off her face still laughin a loud and warm laugther, she looked around after Teeku. When she finally saw him she lit up in a huge smile and pure joy filling her eyes " yes you got me" she bubbled with laugther as she got uo, shaking snow out of her fur before she walked over to Teeku "so what is your favorite thing to do? Beside catching she-wolves in the winter" the last part she said with a clear laugther before she looked at him a warm happy feeling shining through her eyes.

Teeku's momentum had sent him flying into Naya. Once they collided however she tumbled and he too went a tumbling. Rolling through the snow, he finally stopped now laying on his back. He glances back at Naya upside down his paws in the air, his head rubbing against the snow happily. Her words make him chuckle and he flashes her a toothy grin. " I told you I would catch you." He teases the folds of skin around his maw pulled back by gravity, making him look rather ridiculous in a goofy sort of manner. Chuffing once more, he wiggles about in the snow his deep amber eyes closing a minute, the sun lighting up the light brownish fur hidden under his dark pelt. Realizing Naya spoke again, Teeku paused in his wriggling to swing his head around and look at her once more remaining upside down. " My favorite thing to do?" He repeats blinking thoughtfully for a moment. Suddenly without warning he turns himself upright and lays on his belly. Shaking snow from his head and back with no luck, he gives up licking a bit from his nose. " I suppose you could say I like to run." He admits a smile on his maw. " What about yourself?" He inquires, shaking his skull again as he tried to rid it of snow. It however did not work so instead he started to paw it off with his front paws.

Naya thought about it for a moment, she didn't knew what her favorite thing was. A puzzled look were to be seen on her face "I guess that you could say that my favorite thing is when I make other people happy" she said thoughtfully. It was the truth though, she did like when she made people happy, to see their faces light up and even sometimes to see them run around again after sickness or injuries. She tried to shake off some snow that had tangled in her fur, but it didn't succeed instead she tried to rub it off. She couldn't do it by herself so she walked over to the nearest tree and rubbed her shoulder where the ice was tangled in against the tree. It seemed to help as she could feel the snow falling off. She walked back to Teeku and sat down enjoying how the horizon began to glow a light pink, it was nice to see all those colors in the sky, that was when it hit her "I love to watch the colors change on the sky, when it is dawn or dusk. That's when I love to look up in the sky to see all the colors " she said warmly, she had adored all those colors since she was a pup and she would keep on doing that for as long as she would live she was sure of that.

Teeku listened whilst wiping snow from his face. Eventually it melted and he was left with wet whiskers. Pausing he tilts his skull at Naya's words, a smile on his narrow maw. " Well that's a respectable thing to enjoy." He says, admiring the fae's devotion to others. It was a quality needed in a healer, and it seemed Naya had it. That an the ability to remember herbs, he thought bemusedly. As a youngster his mother had attempted to teach him how to heal. He of course being young and boisterous hadn't paid a lot of attention. Watching as Naya walked away to rub herself against a tree, Teeku flopped on his side. Now that he wasn't moving his hind limb started to ache. Pressing it into the cold snow, he ignored the pain eyes watching Naya. Soon she returned to sit beside him her words making him glance to the sky. " Well there are certainly plenty of places to view the sky here." He comments, his eyes closing some as the cold numbs his leg. Feeling better, he slowly sits up his injured limb tucked awkwardly beneath him. Blinking his deep amber eyes which looked reddish amber in the pink light from the sky Teeku finds a question forming in his mind. " Naya..." He says glancing sideways at her. " May I ask you why you left your former pack?" He inquires curiously. " You don't have to tell me if you don't want..." He adds quickly not wishing to make his new found friend uncomfortable. Wondering if he had over stepped, Teeku awaited Naya's words.

At Teeku's question all the memories of her pack flew through her mind, it saddened her a bit, but she looked over at Teeku and gave him a small smile it didn't hurt as bad as it had before. She took a deep breath to calm her down before she in a calm voice said "My former pack were attacked. I was out by a pond relaxing after having searched the areas for food and herbs" her smile grew bigger as she remembered the pond and the relaxing smell in the air and the herbs nearby. She looked up in the sky as she remembered what happened next "Then I suddenly heard a howl it was from the pack area where we all gather to talk about the day and who should do what. I ran back as fast as I could. The next thing I saw was my whole pack fighting against some wolves that I have never seen. I looked around desperately trying to find my family... I..." she stopped when her voice broke showing her pain. She curled her paws against some ice, she let the cold cool her down and bring her back with Teeku. She looked back at him, the sorrow was clear in her eyes "The next thing I saw was my brother... He was laying there not moving, I could see that he had put up one hell of a fight." she said with pride in her sorrowful voice "But he were not strong enough, he was dead. I panicked, he were the strongest one of us. I turned around only to get attacked by a foreign wolf. My father... My father came to my rescue, but the price was his life... The last thing he told me was to run, so I did " the sorrow flowed out of her voice leaving it neutral. "I ran away from my pack, I couldn't fight only heal. I came across a scent that I knew. It was my mother who had escaped the fight too. She was in an abandoned cave, she was badly injured. She couldn't remember me. I used all of my skills to get her back on the right track, it worked. After some days she could remember who I was. Meanwhile I hunted, there were only rabbits around there so I didn't eat. I made sure that my mother would get enough to eat, so I brought her the meals. One day I was out hunting, when I came back there were another scent beside my mothers. I found her dead inside the cave. Then my mothers killer attacked me, we both put up a fight.... In the end I killed him... The first time I ever killed another wolf. After that I fled the whole area, I wandered around for a while, not really eating. The pain of losing my entire family and my pack was too much." she ended her story there looking down at her paws, praying that he wouldn't abandon her after her story...How she killed another wolf...

As Naya started to speak Teeku suddenly wondered if he wanted to hear this story. It seemed to drain the light from Naya's eyes. Replacing them with the dim light of sorrow from the loss of those one loved. Swallowing dryly, Teeku flickers his slender ears taking in her words in silence. As she continued however, his ears flickered back his deep amber eyes turning solemn. At least for him he hadn't lost his family in such a violent manner. As far as he was aware they were still alive and thriving. Yet here stood a fae who had lost everything and despite that still wanted to help others. As Naya's story rounded to an end, Teeku's paws were cold. Not from the snow however but from her words. He watched as the light furred fae finished and stared at her paws. For a moment Teeku wasn't sure what to do or say. Then blinking his deep amber gaze he leans over and gently pushes his nose into her shoulder fur, in a comforting gesture. " I'm sorry you had to go through all that Naya." He murmurs softly. " Nobody should lose so much." He finishes shaking his skull as he pulled his nose from her fur. Sometimes it was hard for him to remember that Helidos wasn't the only place savaged by war. Others had suffered at the clutches of war and come off far worse.

Naya stood still as she let her memories fade back to be the distant memories that she had buried underneath all her new memories and experiences. She allowed his nose to touch her fur. She felt quite relaxed by this kind gesture "We all go through some rough times in our lives. That's why we can see the bright side so much clearer " she said softly with a hint of her former warmth. She leaned against him until he pulled away she send him a gentle but warm glance, she was thankful for having him with her in that moment. She slowly let her yellow eyes meet his as she somehow wanted to thank him for being so... caring, but no words left her mouth. She didn't know how to speak in that moment, until she found those words that might be able to show if only a bit of her gratitude "Thanks for listening to me Teeku, without judging me for my lack of fighting skills, not every wolf would have been as kind as you" she said the warmth rose in each of her words and as warm as her voice was so was it thankful.

Teeku didn't speak for a long time, instead allowing Naya's voice to fill the air. He merely listened, his deep amber eyes watching her with a somber expression. Nodding some at her words he gives a small smile, his eyes lightening as he does so. " Oh um..." He flushes and looks to his paws in his awkward manner. " Please there is no need to thank me Naya. I get that everyone has their own strengths and weakness. " He murmurs feeling odd under her warm gaze. " I for instance couldn't tell you the first thing about healing." He chuffs, relaxing his forelimbs till they lay flat on the ground. His narrow head now held back to look up at Naya. " My mother tried to teach me." he adds eyes suddenly a little distant. " Needless to say she didn't succeed. " He chuckles, eyes lightening again as if he blinked the memories away. " Anyways..." He says suddenly realizing how late it was getting. The sun had nearly sunken all the way down the sky, night was approaching swiftly. " I don't know about you but I should be getting back to camp. I'd hate to over work my leg since it's just starting to feel normal again. Are you coming? Or do you plan on exploring more?" He asks her, rising to his paws and shaking snow from his fur.

Naya chuckled friendly at the mention of Teeku learning herb "I admit that it's hard to learn all the herbs. I had some trouble with it in the beginning, but I quickly got the hang of it" she said with a hint of laughter. She looked up in the sky admiring the colorful play that was in front of her. She looked back at Teeku, she should also be going back to camp, now she had explored the territory, she could always go around the territory another day. "I would love to come back to the camp with you" she said softly, she shook her fur feeling how she lost some of all the snow that had begun to gather on her back. She looked over at Teeku "Do you mind if I ask what circumstances that made you join this pack?" she asked softly not wanting him to feel a pressure to tell her.

Teeku chuffs softly at Naya's words shaking his skull. " I'll leave the healing to you." He says smiling as he watches her stare at the sky. His amber eyes flicker to the pink and orange tinged horizon as he awaits Naya's reply. When she agrees to come back with him, he wags his tail from side to side. " Great, after you then." He inclines his head in the direction of camp and waits until Naya starts walking to follow. Dodging the bit of snow she shook from her fur, he trod along at a steady pace. Her voice breaking the momentary silence, he pauses mid stride and nearly trips over his paws. " Oh um er...." He struggles to find words. Work you useless brain! He grumbles at himself. " Well um... it's not exactly enthralling." He says starting to walk again. Gathering his thoughts he eye's Naya, " You see I wasn't exactly the easiest wolf to deal with. My father especially said I was reckless, niave even." He shrugs his shoulders as they continued their way along. " Don't get me wrong I was. It's a miracle I am even standing here beside you... I managed to find more trouble as a pup than most wolves find in their entire life. And for a while my parents put up with it. They tried teaching me like my siblings." Teeku's gaze had become distant as though he was seeing things from his past play before his eyes. " When I turned two years old my father came to me. He gave me an ultimatum..." Teeku dropped his gaze, watching his paws crunch through the snow. " He said I needed to leave the pack, that I could do so peacefully and of my own will or he would banish me by force." Huffing softly as the air around them cold colder, Teeku raises his gaze back to Naya. " Back then I found my parents rules to be a drag. There constant nagging, constant reprimands. All work and no play. I hated it, so when my father told me I could just leave I jumped at the chance to get away. So that same day, I left said goodbye to my mother and brothers and bid them all farewell. I thought I'd love living on my own with no rules, no wolves bossing me around telling me how to and how not to act. But...." His voice falters and he shakes his head. " It didn't take long before being a loner got old. Always looking over your shoulder for danger, never knowing when you might eat next. The five months I spent alone was more enlightening then my first two years of life. But by the time I realized how foolish I had been I'd already traveled so far away. Plus I didn't know if my parents would even consider taking me back, so instead I came here. Where Alphess Rose, who was a Guardian at the time accepted me into Helidos. " Teeku's lips pulled back into a smile now at the memory of his first encounter with Rose. He'd never seen such a snowy white fae before her. He'd been quite taken with her beauty. Suddenly he realizes his thoughts were drifting and he shakes his head flushing. " So yeah that's my story I guess..." He shrugs his shoulders again.

Naya began to walk back to the pack area. She listened closely to Teeku's words. She had known a few wolves back in her own pack that had been reckless in their nature, they had been driven out to a nearby cave and had to spend a month there all alone. She never liked the idea since a lot of the young wolves didn't knew how to hunt or anything, so deaths had occurred more often than it had gained them. She gently rested her head on his shoulder in a comforting manner "Sorry for asking Teeku " she said softly. Even though it was the first time she had met him she already cared deeply for him already and wished him only the best, after hearing his story she found herself with an urge to help him make the rest of his live more cheerful and happy

Moments after he finished speaking, Teeku felt Naya's gentle maw lay across his shoulder. It was a heartwarming gesture of comfort and kindness. One Teeku took with a soft look of appreciation. " Don't be sorry..." He says brushing his own maw over hers, in a friendly manner, before pulling his head away to keep track of where they walked. " I actually think talking about it might of helped." He murmurs smiling some. " Ya know getting it out of my head." He shrugs his shoulders some, his tail still swaying behind him. A wistful look coming over him. Blinking some, the long legged brute fell silent. It felt good to speak so freely with somone. Between the war and his injury he hadn't had much time for making friends. Now it seemed he had gained one, a kind hearted one too.

Naya felt happy as she walked next to him as she entered the pack clearing. She looked around and the sweet scent of Helidos filled her nose. She knew that she hadn't been so happy for a long time. She turned her head and looked over at Teeku "I know what you mean." she said softly, she felt like a huge weight had been lifted off her shoulder when she told him about the fate of her old pack. A warm feeling spread across her body, she was in a new pack, but she had found something bigger and far greater in the wolf next to her.. a friend.
